It'sTest cricket, dear, not gully cricket.
by Rajendra Bowrie on Dec 26, 2011 08:23 PM

Test cricket is real cricket Try to understand instead of condemning our bowlers. They deserve a pat for a good show on the opening day, especially newcomer Umesh Yadav.

True.

But we could have hardly threatened to call off the tour under the PRESENT circumstances.
We might though, later, if required. ;-)

No wonder India don't want the referral system. They wouldn't be able to cheat themselves back into the game like today. False appealing for undeserved dismissals.

There are as many times in cricket wrong decisions have gone in India's favour but we only remember the ones gone against India

Aus score to be 420 all out!
by raghavadesikan on Dec 26, 2011 04:03 PM  | Hide replies

we have seen many times that India takes long time to bundle tail-enders of any country...i predict Aus would end 420 all out by playing till lunch or even 1hr post lunch..

Tailenders wagging the tail..
by jaguar on Dec 26, 2011 03:38 PM  | Hide replies

No idea whats this jinx with Indian cricket, but almost everytime when the bowlers get success against the top order the tailenders come all gun blazing and build good partnerships.. and that's exactly why India loss the matches which could have been won!

India Missed the brilliant chance
by satish on Dec 26, 2011 03:03 PM  | Hide replies

with 214/6 Indian bowlers should have put all their might to restict the host around 260-270,
if aus could score 350 ,they will be better placed.

But according to some Indian fans on this forum, Siddle is an ace batter, so this was bound to happen.

Ishant Sharma...
by Anurag Rathore on Dec 26, 2011 02:52 PM  | Hide replies

Ishant was best bowler today. His some deliveries were unplayable. Zaheer too bowled well. Both created pressure at one end. Umesh utilized it at other end. Ashwin was ok.

This test is evenly poised now. Seeing the record that India used to perform poor in 1st test of a series, India did so well here.

I agree.. Also, the best thing was that no DRS = he can't even be questioned.
Super move by BCCI...
