Some Aussie players were not selected for this reason only

Its not strange but its the truth.

Some Aussie players were not selected for this reason only, as they have not 50 off overs under their belt or they have not played a competitive match to prove their ability to survive a match.

And then you come to Indian cricket team, who despite repeatedly being wounded for THIS BAD HABIT, again lick the same old tradition, of not testing their bowlers/players, and take them only to see them BREAKDOWN in the middle of the game, and then captain will always have this excuse to offer that "IT CAN HAPPEN TO ANYONE".

Its not shameful, its a tradition.

This series is a contest of two below par teams of world cricket and whosoever play bad, will losse (not the other way around).

Well said... Its a shame to see that the richest board in Cricket still does not do anything to promote Bowlers in the country... For close to 100 years India has been producing quality batsmen and just a handful of GOOD bowlers!

We just don't have any choice. If we go by the criteria of Aussies and other top teams, we will never have a single bowler in the team. We are forced to rely on half fit bowlers even for the most toughest test series... :-|
