Bradman has scored mostly against England whereas Sachin has scored against the might of Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, etc. Moreover he has scored on batting pitches made for draws and people losing interest after the second day itself, showing his power of concentration. While he has failed on occasions when India has needed him the most and been quite selfish regarding his batting position (opener in ODIs and 4th in tests), after all he is human too. No doubt he is the best :) .

this economist has only taken figures to compare. this is very dangerous - for eg. in a company of 102, with 2 ladies & 100 men, if the 2 ladies get married to 2 men, then 100% of ladies get married to 2% of men. also greatness has to be categorised on the bowlers they have faced - how will bradman fare against the bowlers that sachin has faced and vice-versa. pls take the figures of the bowlers, their actions, how many times they have got the above two out, in what manner etc etc will then give a right picture of the greatness. otherwise it will like the example shown above - which is a pure no no.

sukhmeet - am with u on that - he is not BR material - the records speak for it - BR should be given to someone who has done something gr8 for his country - not his own self!

I totally agree with you...both have played in different era...so there is no comparision at all...In my opinion both the batsman are great in their respective era...!

wcpak - if u cant contribute logically to a discussion - u obviously r showing ur lack of a lot of things - esp that ur upper floor is mt!
bradman has scored only in englan or australia and hardly played 5 tests in a year he played hardly played for 60 or 70 days a year, so he was physically more relaxed than sachin and sachin played almost for 200 days a year physically its very challengind sachin has done it, sachin scored in all countries, has scored 99 hundreds and you can see how many records he has.And how many bowlers sachin has facen and how many don bradman has, don bradman has only one record and sachin tendulkar has almost every record of cricket.if sachin,s number of hundreds are that much high of 99 then it is booun to happend that there is hundreds for loosing cause as well. sachin carring indian cricket on his own shoulders since last 20 years.
