a new scientific analysis of sachin..........
by vijay on Dec 22, 2011 12:59 PM  | Hide replies

A scientific analysis based on the following variables (mentioned

below) have proved that Sachin is atleast 6 time better than Don

Bradman, 3 times better than Gavaskar, 2 times better than Lara,

Ponting and Viv Richards.

SO THERE IS NO AS SUCH COMPETITION FOR THE POST OF GREATEST PLAYER

EVER....THAT PLAYER IS SACHIN TENDULKAR.....

1. Quality of bowlers faced
2. Variety of pitches played
3. Level of pressure
4. Level of fitness required
5. Total runs scored at international Level
6. Amount of cricket played
7. on-field and off-field conduct

Sachin is gr8er than bradman proof...
by vijay on Dec 22, 2011 12:35 PM  | Hide replies

Bradman has played 80% of his matches against England i.e. in his career he has batted almost against one style of attack. While Sachin has shown his batting skills against various styles of attacks of the
likes Walsh, Ambrose, Imran Khan, Waqar Younis, Akram, Shane Warne,
Murli, Magrath etc..
Bradman played just 52 Intl Test matches, whereas Sachin has played
166 Test matches, nearly 450 ODIs and a T20 game and is still carrying
on. This speaks about his fitness.
Bradman might have been judged out many more time had there been a
third (TV) umpire in his days and this might have bought down his much
talked about average. Sachin was the first in an intl match to be
judged out by the 3rd (TV) umpire.

Tiring, how many times will you say this? SRT can't handle quicks. Bradman did all that at a time when there was no protective gear, and the bowling was far more menacing.

SRT is the world champ against Zim, Bangladesh, NZ on flat tracks.

if thats teh case then there r many who r better than Bradman.
Bradman should never be considered among the top great batsmen.

Now look at it the other way,
Bradman had an average of close to 100 which was way ahead of his contemporatries. but in case of tendu, his average is one of teh best but there r many who r not far behind.

Bradman might have been judged out many more time had there been a
third (TV) umpire in his days------
It could have been the other way round also, he was adjudged out when acutually he was not then he wud have averaged more than 100. so why commnet on a thing which v r not sure abt.

During Bradman era, there was no LBW out hence if u consider this Sachin could ve reached 20k runs and avg more than 80..
