Rahul Dravid is inspiration for australians but not for his own indians: Ricky Pointing openly admired Rahul Dravid 146 not out knock in england tour and asked his team mates to take inspiration from rahul but IRONY of the game is that our own men are not motivated by rahul dravid

Dravid The BEST
by Hanumanji Prasad on Dec 23, 2011 10:57 AM  | Hide replies

Look at the scores of Dravid and the only player to come across 1000 runs. Its a great news for Indian Cricket. He played against good opposition and the timing. He always played every time without good support form the other end and always comes to the crease with lesser runs on board and crucial timing. Even in such conditions he scored all the centuries. No doubt he is greater than anyone else in the world at present. All the best for Dravid on the Boxing day Test match.

1. He played 50% matches at home. (rest aganist Aus at Aus?)
2. He never played under pressure like Dravid . There was always another 100 or 200 from English men But Dravid was the highest scorer from Indian side.

playing without injury in tests is also a great challenge, Rahul Dravid is the only person in world cricket playing for 15 years without injury...so dont campare him with anybody

Include the forthcoming boxing day test (to be played b/w 26th and 30th Dec), you will have 12 tests which means 60 days in a year. Considering the preparations the test matches need, 12 tests a year is not bad. 3-4 additional tests would have been better yet.
