rotation allows for rehabitation of all bowlers
by D S on Dec 21, 2011 04:44 PM

so selectors should have plan to have most of the team with 100% fitness. even yadav went away once due to injury.

rehabilitation(massage, mild therapy water rehab, etc) is possible for bowlers coming out of injury. It can be rotation of 2-3 over between three bowlers.
For example, here is rotation plan for bowler x, y and z for 3 over spells.
3(x), 3(y), 3(z)
the bowler coming out of injury is x can do 3 over spell before going for rehab while the next "two bowlers" y and z complete 3 overs between them.
x comes of rehab and does 3 over spell with only y or x from opposite end or "both y and z" rotating on opposite end.
Many combinations are possible such that x can have rehab after 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 over spell depending on his ease and recovery level. we can also send y and z for rehabilitation during the bowling rotation.

Your Ricky Ponting has also scored only 1 century in India, that too due to Umpire's help. So don't brag.

Result is Chairman's XI have Won

It must not be Declared as a Draw, as Chairman's XI have scored 100/0 and even a layman would know that they would have gone on to Win with plenty of wickets remaining if they had more overs.

India has set the target of 145 in 30 overs. Even if CACXI scored 144 runs in 30 overs, it is counted as draw. Indians have used the match for practise not for winning.

I can understand - Another Critic & Ram, both of you are hurt by my comments, but still I would say Chairman's XI have Won, as Indians did not bowl well, so you can't take that as an excuse for poor bowling.

Nonsense... This was a practice match and that is how Indian team treated it... If India wanted to win this, they would not have declared when they were 90 for 2!

Dhoni declared because we Indians wanted all the bowlers to have a spell of around 5-6 overs without stressing!

But Indian bowlers failed to take even 1 Wicket in 2nd innings.
