It is much more accurate than umpires. BCCI always has problems with everything. India will suffer because of not using DRS...just imaging Sachin or Dravid were given out when they are not out. It will be huge blow. Common BCCI, grow up and accept DRS and Hot Spot. 90% efficiency is still better than Zero Efficiency.
Ponting is nowhere in his best form and he is an easy wicket for india. At best he could make a sedate 100 in one of the matches which will have no bearing on the result what so ever. So it is advantage for india if he is selected. Moreover, he is like an elephant in the dressing room who needs to be pulled. His selection frustrates many players and they also can not perform well. CA made Watson and marsh fake injuries just to justify his selection. Ponting is responsible for early retirement of greats like warne, mcgrath and gilchrist. Because they can not play under untalented leader. Warne continues playing even now for money, so he can easily play for australia longer time if he was made captain. Then australia would still be number 1, or at most number 2. I am keeping fingers crossed for ponting selection.
technology can b manipulated thats sure. manual auto meter is replaced by electronic meters, but still they can b manipulated.
voting has been transferred thru evm but still that can b manipulated. computer programs n security set up of even so-called safe white house can b hacked n b manipulated. so whats the idea of channels to push for such a technology.
n even after introductions of all referees, third umps etc, icc's biasedness hasnt gone away. instead of punishing cheater n abuser ausis ,they use new rules to punish sub-continent players n ban them. eg dravid was reprimanded but slater wasnt. mcgrath got escape but sreesanth, sehwag, bhaji, ganguly, etc. were punished. so v cant rely on icc. ultimately its the technology which is being used against us.

Hmmmmmm...spoken like a true WI fan. BTW, why suddenly the affection for Bucknor? After all the same DRS and hot spot proved him wrong in 2008...

No way. As per aussie fan boys technology cannot be beaten by them, hence called fool proof. The only thing that can beat technology is ponting. hehehehe.
when the technology is not foolproof then y do channel 9 has to advocate it? whats their purpose. u just focus on ur broadcast relays n dont poke at policy decisions.

:-)... Boss they are doing it for their viewers. They ARE actually focusing on their broadcasts and their telecast is only for the viewers. As for Why, read the above article.

Right which is why they just added some spice to the whole thing with a few bad ones for India. Marketing geniuses at work for masters.
India should use hotspot and DRS only if the operators are Indian; here we are talking about something which is from open field decision to a closed door decision given by a software technician who might be favouring a country more than the other. So if HOTSPOT and DRS to be implemented then they should be evaluated by a group of three members panels for each decision.

:-).... We should only play Ranji matches. Even opponents are Indians.

hehe. Thats funny. This is the other extreme. Aussie fan babies want their team to be the umpires. They want ponting to give every decision. Well you guys fight.

yeah. Keep the good marketing going for your masters. Throwing in those lies in the middle is fine. hehe

:-). Keep believing ONLY Indians arei mistake-proof. :-)
Re: Re: weird

Yeah. And Aus and channel nine can claim it was an umpiring mistake and can get to implement the technology and commit more harakiri with the help of technology. Then they can probably reclaim their top spot.

I am glad your confusion in that area is over. The others will take sometime i guess. Keep working. hehe

India should definitely accept full DRS but having said that, Hot Spot is still iffy, the Sri Lankans were hard done by in the first Test against South Africa. Channel 9 is racist esp. Greig and Healy, so they would do their best to calumnify India, hope we can answer in the only way possible i.e. winning !!

Hawkeye is still a baby. All that is needed is for third umpire to review in slow motion. No prediction is needed. A simple cost effective system is to be replaced now with a buggy expensive system.

Well if that pleases you aussie fan babies. Anything is fine as long as you dont keep on blaming india for it. hehehe.

hehe. Little back tracking now. Nice try. Next is that ponting should be the umpire. That would make you happy. Now don't lie. hehe
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: weird
by Against Pseudos on Dec 20, 2011 10:57 PM
Backtracking?? Hmmmmm.. Ponting should NEVER be the umpire BTW. And he never has been fir anyone else including archrivals English. But some people .., ;-)
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: weird

oh come one pseudo. Ponting should never be ? hehe. You just want that to happen. But the pretensions. boy. You little liar you.

Carry on with ur stories. Ur hatred for facts wi be enjoyed even by arch rivals English. :-)

You can keep marketing for channel nine if you choose to. Fan baby is already to the rescue of channel nine. :-)

Right 'most Aussie cricket fans'. Of coz no wonder you market channel nine and digest all they say. So yeah it does include you. good. :)
