Greg Chappal advise to australia
by yahoo on Dec 18, 2011 02:17 AM  | Hide replies

Greg Chappal is giving australia advise, insight and help. Australia will go down the drain now. He came to india, indian team became useless. Then he went to australia, and the australian team became useless. Now, he is advising australia, they will get thrashed. :)

wrong yahoo. greg chappell came to india and very soon we became no. 1 in ALL formats of the game...

greg was insulted by aussie selectors and clarke and aussie players and was shown the door and australia went from worse to worst...

finally they are forced to see sense that greg can be useful to them after a spate of defeats and bad performances...

We became No.1 becuse of Chappel? when?
Chappel probably came to help Aussies and others and not India. The only help he did is to get rid of Ganguly.

True explorer...... We were #1 in tests because most of the tests were played in flat track Indian pitches.

Jiju, we did not become no. 1 ONLY because of wins in india. we won many times, tests, series, odis series on foreign soil also in different countries...

and by the way isnt winning on flat indian tracks MORE difficult than winning on fast tracks. what is so didfficult in winning when playing on diffuclt pitches. we have won against aussies, SA pakistan playing ont their fast pitches..

if we won most on indian flat pitches isnt that MORE creditable? how could other teams not even draw on flat indian pitches?

explorer, we became no. 1 mainly because of greg's policy of injecting young blood in the indian team. it was because of him that new generation players like gambhir, dhoni, raina, kohli, praveen kumar, ojha, sreesanth, pathan, ishant, etc. got experience to play international cricket and could develop their abilities, experience how to play under pressure on big stage etc. otherwise like i said mamy times we would not have won the aussies best of 3 finals tri series, T20 Wc, odi wc..theh main reason we won all these was because of new generation players. imagine if instead of them it was ganguly, laxman, dravid, sachin, kumble etc. playing do you seriously think we would have won these tournaments? that was the biggest favour greg chappell did to us...otherwise right now it would have been sachin, dravid, ganguly, laxman kumble who would have to retire because of too much cricket and our new generation playres would have been woefully out of experience, confidence and security...it was because of greg that these players got international exposure at just the right time and are where they are today...

yes greg might have made mistakes and rubbed the seniors the wrong way but he has done more GOOD to indian cricket than harm...also his tenure was not so unsucceful as some people think. the odi WC was his ONLY failuire in terms of performance. other wise we have won away series under him and created records like winings 17-18 odis while chasing...

besides he did not come to help australia and destroy india. that is very wrong and ungrateful. he did what he thought was best for indian cricket. some things he might have done wrong but he was also right many times. nobody likes his team to do badly and greg did what he thought was best and he was proved right on many issues...ganguly came back stronger than before, other senior players remained on their toes. youungsters got exposure, security etc...

pseudo: it seems you will NEVER understand or dont WANT to understand...however bad that england tour scoreline reads in reality things were NOT that bad...it was a physically and mentally tired indian team that was playing hence that lopsided result which gave a skewed idea of what really went wrong or how good was indian strength if they had played without injury, and not tired and jaded because of too much cricket...if our main players like zaheer, harbhajan, sehwag, gambhir were going to get injured AFTER the test match started what can anybody do? even the gods would be helpless...if like us aussie ''no. 1'' team also had to lose players like hayden, langer, mcgrath and warne while the test was going ON, similar type of results would have happened to them....

but of course like i said you either dont understand or even try to understand....

true to your style you will criticise and ridicule any indian cricket team, player, captain etc. (except of course SACHIN!)...:)

Both Sehwag and Sachin didn't bat in the Optional net session, if we are to go with your story. So why post their pictures? Just like that?

Indian Batsmen Must Practise

Against Short b_a_l_l_s & Bouncers which are chest high. Just batting with Old b_a_l_l_s will not serve the purpose in Australia, else they have to practice with Bowling machines that throw Tennis b_a_l_l_s at 160 Km/hr.
