In any case, Rahane would have struggled to find a place in the final 11 for a test match with the top 7 batting slots are already fixed. So possibly he will get a chance in the later part of the ODI series, if India does well in the first few matches.

one swallow doesn't make a summer likewise you cannot judge a player with just one performance..I am confident rahane will shine in the tests / ODIs..all the best to him..

ALl Chennai guys are failed miserably in test, ABhinav, Murli Vijay, are good for Domestic cricket. I think they have given too much chances to prove.

Murali Vijay is a failure but not Mukund .Please see his current domestic form . How many more one days rahane to come to form. Abhinav has played less test matches than Rahane's oneday.
