Hey Buddy,
Thanks for sharing your expeience. I think your fiance atleast told you the truth rather than just telling "I am not that kind of girl". But I would advise you to get medical clearance before you wedding.

News from Dometic FC cricket
by Nikhil Shah on Dec 17, 2011 12:20 AM  | Hide replies

With concerns about Ishant's fitness, the news from the Indian domestics is of 27 year old TP Suhindra. In the recently concluded drawn match against Haryana, TP Suhindra takes a 10 wicket haul.

TP Suhindra, is the only bowler in domestic FC who is listed on the cricinfo profile as right arm fast. That also does not include Ishant, Zaheer, Yadav and Aaron! who are listed fast-medium.

Is Subhindra quicker than everyone else ? His eco rate is impressive as well. He was picked in the recent Challenger series for the red team and did very well.

His domestic record so far

23 mtchs, 98 wkts @ 21.5 ECO=2.48 SR=51.8

He not takes wickets every 7.3 overs but also has an impressive economy rate of 2.48. No Indian bowler today is Right Arm fast and has an eco rate of 2.48 in First class cricket.

Why was'nt he picked for the Indian team ? Well age could be a concern, but still has 4-5 years left in him and India could have used him.

Another factor could be the plate leagues may have inflated his average. We did not have this problem with Umesh Yadav from Vidharba as long as you have pace.

I think the selectors should fly him over to Australia as a replacement before the 2nd warm up tour game on Dec 19 and have him play that. He could be available if not for the 1st Test but can be ready and acclimatised for the 3rd or 4th Test.

Nikhil, honestly, I never heard of Suhindra. obviously I dont follow domestic cricket much. But the reason I or someone else havent heard much about him is probably because he doesnt have connections at high places to please BCCI high command. not that all the players who show up at national scene are unqualified but besides having sporting skills, you need to have some other criterion like zonal selection or godfather or be in good books of managers. This is typical of indian selection process. I dont see him coming to top anytime soon.

a bowling attack serving up half-volleys
by Manu Zach on Dec 16, 2011 10:29 PM

The Chairman's XI bowlers were just bowling half-volleys at the Indian batsmen. Not even one among the bowlers were of any quality and I don't understand the meaning of such 'practice matches' when you don't even get a glimpse of the things which are awaiting you.
Either the BCCI failed to put up a quality fixture or the CA deliberately denied the Indians the same.

Sacin, Sachin, Sachin

Media are absolutely obsessed with the name of Sachin. I think too much fuss is being made of Sachin. Praise when it is due not pamper as though he is the most beautiful of "child". After all he was playing against a second or even a third rate team. Media, please look to our other decidedly more bright and talented and young cricket players. Tell Sachin to retire and let one more talent grow. The country needs that not the record books.

boss if this is third rate team then why your so called young talent failed to perform... Sachin made the way for young talent in one days as he is not playing it but still no one is grooming well so its not his fault & he is performing well & scoring runs, so he deserve his place in team... why dont u talk about non performer, why the age factor matter so much & not the performance. if india is loosing its team loss As it is said when Sachin Win matches for India...

What could be his cause ? If he makes a good score, they condemn, otherwise too. Why this vehemance for a man of such a stature who has never spoken a derogatory word to anyone. He has been respectful to everybody.....he is loved by millions....and so thats why some are jealous. No medicine for jealousy though.. This site esp. carried all the Sachine Hate messages, in fact it encouraged. What is the reasone. The whole nation is stunned into silence by some roudy people who have a big say these days on tv....really shame indeed. Some people were more happy that Viru broke his record and not for Viru. Such is a degree of jealousy of those who call them cricket fans, cricket lovers and above all educated. And yes, they are not Pakistanis, but our own "Indians ".

ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. JEALOUSY HAS NO MEDICINE. THE SACHIN HATE BEGAME WELL BEFORE THE WORLD CUP.....AND AS A SRI-LANKAN I HAVE ALWAYS WONDERED WHY SUCH A HATE FOR A MAN WHO ACHIEVED SO MUCH, THAT TOO IN A MOST PROFFERSSIONAL FRIENDLY WAY.....WHILE SEE OTHERS,WHO ARE ACCUSED OF RAPE, DRUG ADDICTION, MISBEHAVIOUR ON THE GROUNDS, EVEN HURT TO THE FOREIGN COACHES...AND NO ONE SPEAKS...QUITE SURPRISING THAT YOUR NATIONAL MEDIA HAS JOINED THE HATE. QUITE A COWARDICE THOUGH.
