After Hanif Mohammed, shoaib mohammed was the best in the family who has represented Pakistan for a long time as an opener and scored many centuries as well as a good bowler..in the same way Amarnath family has not been mentioned..mohinder and surinder as well as lala represented india
Few unanswered Questions : Why did these great players so called match winners (Dravid, Ganguly, Laxman, Azhar) not play well when India lost matches if they r match winners? Is Indian cricket not a team game? Why did we have tendulkar scoring 100 in several matches and other players in the team not scoring even a double digit and we blame one person for the lost match? Why do have a culture of blaming performers and we dont blame non-performers in a match? Why was poor performance of Azhar and Ganguly not questioned under the captancy of Sachin?

Sourav Ganguly's career average was 11363 runs in 311 matches at an average of about 41 runs. Under Sachin he scored 2397 runs in 65 matches at an average of almost 43 runs. Out of these 65 matches, 3 matches did not produce any result. In the rest of the matches (62), India won only 19, and in these matches (19) Ganguly scored a total of 928 runs at an average of 66.3. In fact he was instrumental in winning most of these matches with not only bat but also ball in some of them. So how do you say that he performed poorly under the captaincy of Sachin?

frivolous argument, and you want serious reply. you are not even a half baked troll, forget cooking lessons and policy decisions here!
there is no much difference between Dravid and sachin in terms of contribution for winning cause...everyone tells that if sachin scores 100 then India would lose...from this statistics, i understood it is not for test matches...may be for ODIs that Sachin would have got poor contributions for wins..

rahul has one ace up his sleeve, he's contribute by stopping india from losing many times. I'm pretty sure though that every batsmen from the great 4 - ganguly, laxman - all of them cant be compared.

i think the author has missed Sachin's 137* stand Vs Srilanka in 1996 WC...this happened in Delhi match in which Srilanka's Jayasuriya gave a firm reply...Manoj Prabhakar was made to bowl spin as he was smashed against his pace (slow) bowling...first time i got frightened to see such a reply by srilankans...

sorry! Sachin got himself ran out in the last over in that match against srilanka..however he made unbeaten 127* against kenya in the same tournament but the match got over in 42nd over itself..can this be considered??!!
