I could see 8 indian batsmen in the score card. To this, add Vinay, Mithun, Ishanth, Yadav and Ojha who bowled yesterday, the team size works to 13. Was the rule flexed to all more than 11 players to play and give as much exposure to bastmand and bowlers?

r u not aware of tour game?? even in warm-up games in the ODI world cup, u will see more than 11 batsmen...it is been played for touch before the start of the test series...

Now a days the rules have been changed to declare the bastman out if he is retiring midway and doesn't resume even when the innings/match comes to an end.
