The news from Domestic FC cricket
by Nikhil Shah on Dec 17, 2011 12:08 AM

With concerns about Ishant's fitness, the news from the Indian domestics is of 27 year old TP Suhindra. In the recently concluded drawn match against Haryana, TP Suhindra takes a 10 wicket haul.

TP Suhindra, is the only bowler in domestic FC who is listed on the cricinfo profile as right arm fast. That also does not include Ishant, Zaheer, Yadav and Aaron! who are listed fast-medium.

Is Subhindra quicker than everyone else ? His eco rate is impressive as well. He was picked in the recent Challenger series for the red team and did very well.

Why was'nt he picked for the Indian team ? Well age could be a concern, but still has 4-5 years left in him and India could have used him.

Another factor could be the plate leagues may have inflated his average. We did not have this problem with Umesh Yadav from Vidharba as long as you have pace.

I think the selectors should fly him over to Australia as a replacement before the 2nd warm up tour game on Dec 19 and have him play that. He could be available if not for the 1st Test but can be ready and acclimatised for the 3rd or 4th Test.

Same applies to Abu Nechim Ahmed,he shouldered responsibility with Malinga in the absence of Zaheer Khan to make MI IPL Champions.

He is almost as fast as Umesh Yadav and better than Vinay Kumar and Varun Aaron...

This gentlemn has speed as well accuracy as performances shows and terms mcgrath as his idol.Instead encouraging such talent you have chosen a comment which is wrong and will discourage new comers

Fastest....zoom

Venkatesh Prasad was a GENUINE FAST SPINNER of such high calibre that India preferred him over pace bowlers to open the attack and the tradition continues to this day with Vinay Kumar, Mithun and praveen Kumar. Great going. Wat is this craze for speed? The West Indians,Pakis and Aussie bowlers were crazy to waste their energy by steaming in and delivering thunderbolts. Spin is the way to Goa, after all we practice non-violence.

lol :)
We practised non violence and we were looted in the past.
Also Our Munaf is officially called as spiner by West Indies. We are successful only in India because of this, lets hope we see a pace bowlers in our team also one day.

My advice to you is that you should not listen to Tendulkar or Venkatesh Prasad or any one who tells you to bowl slower to pitch the ball in right areas. Keep bowling fast with brains, even if you go for runs.
All the best.

Then he would become like Ajith Agarkar with pathetic economy rates and no value for the wickets he would take.

Mohd. Nissar was the only real pace bowler India ever produced. The next name coming closer was Javagal Srinath.

All other bowlers who ran & bowled for India were all Medium Pacers. This also includes Kapil Dev. Unfortunately there is no fast bowler you can produce on dead flat wickets.

Wats his fastest ball sp far?
by Nancy Singh on Dec 15, 2011 05:23 PM  | Hide replies

I think he never touched 150kmph which was crossed by Agarkar/Ashish Nehra. Even Zaheer was bowling 145kmph in initial days.
Why is this bowler creating Scene here. I think because is he from Jharkand?
