I think West Indian Keiron Pollard is the highest earning Cricketer in the world barring the advertisement and other off field income.He has been hired for huge amounts playing for different T20 franchisee teams including Mumbai Indians.But if u include off field income also MS Dhoni may be the highest earning cricketer.

Yes. Chris Gayle, Veeru (again), Polard also capable to score Double hundreds in ODIs.
Shane has had a great couple of years. He knows his position in the Aussie team is safe which gives him licence to go and earn the big bucks in the IPL
Australia is a Big sporting country with 100 Years Cricketing history. IN SPITE OF ALL THIS ...4 million dollars is Very Very less. As compered to other international stars like Djokovic , Murrey (both of his age ) he appears to be Poor Chap among High earning SportsMan in the world

I agree to some extent but cricket cannot be compared to tennis, motor sport or football in terms of viewership or following. He is not earning less .. though not as much as Mark Webber(for obvious reasons).. What is great about the list is that the top 20 sportsen are from atleast 12 different sports.. WELL DONE AUSTRALIA!!!! In India, 15 out of 20 would have been cricketers.

Fair point. Cricketers have been underpaid sportsman for years. The IPL is starting to change this now
is terrific all rounder.That is why he survived his position in test and odi.He is like virender sehwag of india.if walking then 100 or not gone to pavillion.He knows only 4 or 6.But he is good feilder and bowler also performed great against south africa taking 5 wicket and south africa all out in 96 in 1st test.
