Master schools rookie Yadav.

News-
"
Sachin Tendulkar often instructed the pacer not to let the extra bounce in the pitch affect his length, albeit to little avail.
"

apart from the advise, master also wants to face certain kind of deliveries for himself.

this is just one part of the pace attack that yadav has heard. though, Line and length squares were built by Angrez coaches to control angrez fast bowlers area of ground landing and swing/rise/angle and use of bowling crease for certain batsmen. Same was done for spin. Batting was also prepared in similar fashion under a very extensive program.
i dont know if india has done such things privately in places such as NCA or kotla (bouncy pitch) without need of videshi coach.

Certain videshi bowlers are tactically held by Australia so they can bring them on later in the series for a certain pitch. Dont know if similar planning is for batsmen as well.

What are we doing?
by Ashok Kumar on Dec 14, 2011 02:49 PM  | Hide replies

While they had planned for a stringent batting practice session for their key batsmen, what are our batsmen doing? They have landed in Aus earlier, alright. But have they been training?

Gambhir and Ashwini are on honeymoon trip and Dhoni on extended honeymoon. It will take ages to lift bat and facing 140 kmph in net practice. All 3 grandpa..sachin, dravid and laxman were facing spinners during net practice in England tour and we had one sided results. Hope BCCI has sent a top class Indian curator with sickle in hand to uproot the grass from melbourne pitch, like he does in Indian infertile grounds.

One important Dhoni's men should realize
by srinivas satyanarayan on Dec 14, 2011 02:41 PM

There is no Kumble's and Bajji's in team, though their batting is good they have no experienced bowlers to support and our fielding is not even 50% of australian's capability. Well it's a tough challenge for India on bouncy wickets for sure
