ausies. There is no bollinger, lee, harris in sri lanka and south africa and new talent like lion, pattinson cummins give 100 percent in tour.THat is why by their effort with other team mates win test series in sri lanka, draw in south africa, win odi series in sri lanka and south africa. They are not team india flop in overseas hero in home. They perform great in both home and overseas.Australian today cant say high but dont say low. They maintain balance between high and low.

Define maintaining balance between high and low. Is it being 47 all out in a match, and scoring 300 odd in the second match? People who have common sense call it inconsistency :)

Dont take Aus for granted
by Time Pass on Dec 14, 2011 01:01 PM

The Aus team can never be taken for granted. The series against India may just be the occassion for Ponting, Hussey & Clarke to come back to form. Once they are in form, it is very very difficult to get them out.

Aus also still has a potent bowling attack, with the likes of Siddle, Pattinson etc. in their ranks and a good bench strength. The Indian bowling will be tested and so will be their batting. Except Dravid, Laxman & to an extent Sachin, none of the Indian batsmen are in great form.

India should better be on their toes.

Fixing

This is also a plot to win easily and get Sachin's century with less pressure in Australia.

Sachin's Century is secondary.Indian Win is our Primary goal.If Sachin get's his 100th century is a double treat to watch.

India Down Under.
by Hanumanji Prasad on Dec 14, 2011 12:03 PM  | Hide replies

Its always a difficult task for Indian Team to perform well down under. At present Dravid is under prime form we also need Sachin,Sehwag,Gambir,Kohli,Dhoni to fire at our batting order.A good opening is needed for India for the middle order to perform well and put huge scores on the score card.We badly need a bowler like Aaron to fire in the opening spell but we miss him.Spin department is OK at present.Ashwin and Ohja will sure trouble the Aussie's batting line up.India should perform well in all depts like Batting,Bowling and Fielding. Do not drop any catches and give extra runs for Miss Fielding. All the very best to Team Indian on the Boxing day Test.

On guard INDIA
by harinarayanan subramanian on Dec 14, 2011 11:06 AM

Though Aussies are going thru a rough patch, The Indians are not in great shape either. Barring Dravid all other top order batsmen are not in perticularly great from / touch. The inexperience bowling lineup in absence of the control of Praveen and express pace of Aaron will be put to test in Australia. Against India Australia is a different opposition. Only SA & Eng have done reasonably well in Australia in recent times. Even a depleted Aussie team can prove a handful for India. Never take the likes of Ponting, Hussey, Watson and Clarke easy.

Nothing to get complacent about
by Ashok Kumar on Dec 14, 2011 10:55 AM

India needs to put in their best depite the strength/weakness of the opposition. Cummins, watson may not bowl. But they have some good fast bowlers in their ranks. So we should not be complacent.

aussies has more firen power in their reserves..the old veterans are all tired..but the newcomers are more talented and full of energy. they are raring to go, and we do not have any idea about their capabilities.. so watch out India..like our new comers, Aussie new comers are more skilled...they are training against NZ

aus can never beat india this time. don't be surprised if india wins 4-0 or 3-1. Horrible batting. they cannot even score 80 runs with 8 wickets in hand against nz @home in a decent pitch.

Vaidya:

Yours is the classic case of "I will pretend to act dumb"...
Anyway I hardly expect YOU of all people to understand a simple sentence like "highest score of a TEAM (not individual) wad 233""..
What in this sentence did you NOT understand?? Highest or 233? ;-)
