india should play 5 Specialist bowlers.
by raj shukla on Dec 15, 2011 12:56 PM

india have strong star studded batting line up hence they should go with 5 specialist bowlers ie 4 pacemen & 1 spinner.also the aussie bowling is not strong enough.

India needs to think about a 4-prong pace attack
by Nikhil Shah on Dec 15, 2011 12:36 AM

History says that we have never won a Test series in 70 years in SA and Australia. In the recent tours of England and SA India had problems with getting 20 wickets. The 3rd Test in SA we let the tail-enders hand around.

A more fresh approach for India is to consider a 4-prong seam attack:

Zaheer Ishant Yadav and Vinay Kumar.

The recent success with Bracewell as the 4th seamer for NZ worked well.

A 4th spinner has been the traditional approach but typically it will take away the pressure from the batting side.

Vinay Kumar is accurate and bowls around 81-85 mph in India. Should be around 82-87 mph in Australia. I would personally would not mind risking a 4th seamer to get the tail-enders out.

VVS not in form v WI?
by Ravi Iyer on Dec 14, 2011 10:07 PM  | Hide replies

This article mentions that VVS was not in his best form v WI. Wonder the writer missed his 178* and MOM award in the 2nd test at Kolkata.

Some criketers like Dravid are selfish and wants ONLY Test Crciket beacuse he can stay and bat for dyas and waste hours of work for millions of indians every year!Shame that WE have NOT banned Boring and Time-wastung and porverty-producing Test Crciket, rnaji cricket and duleep cricket, etc and ONLLY One day matches, of 50 or 20 or 30 0vers MUST be played to save our nation from povery and these one day matches MUST be palyed only on week-ends or holidays ONLY, SEE how compared to nations NOT pllaying silly cricket, we are 50 nations behind in developement and ahead in poverty and under-development, what a shame!

foolish answer as ODI cricket will remove poverty OR THE TEST WILL INCREASE POVERTY. FOOLISHNESS SHOULD HAVE LIMITS

the australians also started their game plan - war of words - so that the indian players get destracted to it and under perform.... just ignore them and concentrate on our game else we can see another debacle like the one seen in England
