Test Cricket V/s One Day Cricket
by Sameer Sayed on Feb 07, 2012 07:30 PM

Yes what Rahul says I totally agree with the statement, because present One day cricket has killed the tallent of both Bowlers and Batsmen, the really capability of the player is judge only in Test Cricket For Eg.Dhoni,Yuvraj, Sehwag are no way talented players in Test Cricket because they all lack footwork compare to Rahul,Laxman, Sachin, even though they are in Indian Team. The real test for bowler and batsman is Test Cricket to show each one potential whether as a bowler he can claim the talented batsman by taking his wicket and same thing applies to batsman also whether he can stand even on the rough pace of peach when anysort of bowler fast or medium are found to be dangerous to face them...Hope the time of One day game will slowly slowly comes to end in future.

No Rationale....

I see no rationale in his statement. What he is saying is that it has meaning only when India wins.

Right or wrong

I just wonder whether Dravid could have made such statement while he had been still playing ODI.

people are losing interest in cricket because there have bee too much cricket for last the last 5 or 6 years. I do not think it has anything do with ODI only.

Quality leads to greater interest in something whereas quantity diminish it.

Who care about matches against WI, BD, SRL and NZ (outside NZ).

Can our polit1cians
by counter allegations on Dec 15, 2011 04:02 PM

Instead of an archaic concept of oath of office, our polit1cians should instead undergo lie detector tests against at least top 10 allegations against them. Lie detector test is about 80% accurate. So even if they come clean in 6-8 tests, it will be good.

if polit1cians are afraid, then we can assure them that no cr1minal action would be initiated against them based on these tests, but atleast public will come to know what those polit1cians really stand for.
