"U Turn" and "Turn of Events"
by krish chandrasekhar on Dec 15, 2011 09:31 AM

Mr.SG has made a "U turn" on the turn of events.

Would like to protect his regular income.

So he now says you news walas , paperwalas do not know the difference between "turn of events" to "U Turn".

A good example of play of words but a poor sample of "Bending to crawl"

Ganguly though an ordinary fielder, but had taken some stunning catches - even in the last part of his carrer. However was thousands of miles ahead in batting than others in the list except Gavaskar. Taking ODIs into consideration he surpasses even Gavaskar hands down ..... so uselessly talking about his feilding in the commentry discussion is fooolish!

I said he is doing great in commentatory. I admire on his thoughts and courage displayed in the commenatory when ian bell was given out in the recent eng series, when others like gavaskar was questioning that

but still will not agree to his fielding, will not bend down or run behind the ball.

Agreed. Harsha may not be in this league as he is an anchor and not a commentator.

This is baffling ! A one million dollar contract can be a verbal commitment by the BCCI chief? No wonder Lalit Maken wants BCCI to be reined in!

Is his services really worth $1Million...
by Chicago Male on Dec 14, 2011 05:57 AM  | Hide replies

Picture this..
Adam Gilchrist, one of the most prolific hitters in game got $600000 in IPL for 1 season. Chris Gayle got even less.
Fine Gavaskar "Apparently" is doing some strategic thinking for BCCI but is it really worth 1 million? Will we really miss his services, I will say NO.

And if he was part of governing council that failed to govern, should he not be fined a million dollars?

Sunny is a greedy lout. Always has been, always will be. He might have been a great cricketer but he is a despicable human being. He along with Shastri has been dipping into the cricket coffers just as much as Modi had been. These guys make me sick !

by Mahesh Margam on Dec 14, 2011 05:38 AM

gavi should be helping the indian players not fighting like a crap player... shows his selfish mind... he was causing a lot of problems when kapil was made a captain... his attitude is so bad... gavi's ties with bcci are getting disconnected... he'll no longer be treated as an expert... he'll be sacked from all his positions relating to bcci... he needs it for being selfish and cunning...

Gavaskar is talented but selfish, who can forget hist 36 not out in 60 overs, his handling of felloe cricketers like Doshi and fighting for crores now

Pawar is another selfish marathi, he swindled billions and promised crores to people like Gavaskar.

Do they care about other millions of marathis who are fighting for survival day by day
