When Australia lost 9 wickets and then Warner started hitting fours, NZ's Ian Smith on commentary for Channel 9:
"There is one person missing in all this William Morris Lawry"His commentary on this game would have been superb as always.
Bill is back for MCG test vs India and Ian Smith is happy and will listen, sadly Indian Viewers will be cruelly denied that privilege by those on ESPN Star cricket.Shameful

can't agree with you more, whenever India visits we have to hear shastri, sunil, bhogle whining. Oh it will be a privelage to get to hear Lawry,Beanud,Nicholas, Grieg & co, alas we will not -to watch a series in Australia without channle 9 commentators is a curse

Fielding is going to decide
by A Singh on Dec 12, 2011 11:55 AM  | Hide replies

One big reason why New Zealand won this Test was that they manage to take all the catches that came their way.
The India-Australia series too I believe, with both sides struggling with batting and bowing woes, is going to be decided by fielding.
As it happens, the side that fields better is the side which is more willing to fight. And rarely does a side that is willing to fight fail to produce an inspirational bowling or batting performance that leads to victory.
Fielding therefore is going to be the key for the Indians.

I think india holds upper hand in batting and bowling compared to australia but fielding department ausies are very good

Even India has the ability to collapse in batting as the conditions are different like Angrez tour..
