Is there any one who knows any awards won by BCCI officials........president, secretary in the field of cricket. Unfortunately our sports are controlled by the people who never appeared in any sorts or sports activity. So called good administrators are not interested to pay any respect for our great achievers like KapilDev, Gavaskar, Leander or Anand.
1 See the way he announced his retirement..even rajni could not have created such a farcical send off 2 HE had been allowed to bowl for so long it is natural anybody would have picked up wickets
3 His 10 wicket haul he should dediucate to that Indian Umpire
4 HE has been running a sports management company promoting mediocre cricketers and putting pressure on selectors at state and national level to have them selected.

Lets not doubt one of the all time greats. This is not his loss but NCA's. Also, to your question of self serving, where were you when he bowled with a bandaged jaw. How many cricketers can really do that at the call of the team. Also, to your point of bowling for a long time, apart from his last 2 or 3 series, he was the best bowler in India and main strike bowler. We should learn to respect our greats and not be ungrateful for their achievements

bowling with bandaged jaw was part of his theatrics ..got him good coverage and announcing his retirement after tea at Delhi got him even better coverage

Can you even match Kumbles records even in our gully cricket? Show some respect for such achiever...........
Tamils are dangerous.See they threw out Kumble,Gavaskar and non paying Nimbus.Tamils are not suitable for Indian conditions. Atleast Srinivasn shud make Kumble the chairman of Selectors.

who wants sincere and committed people in BCCI .I have been following cricket for 50 years none of the NCA members have done anything worth while to Cricket or if any of them is player - which I doubt could have done anthing. Cricket in the country is taken over by politicians so the game would have gone to dogs but for the money players earn .Now BCCI has full team of administrators whose only objective is loot and live on freebees.
this ktaka bowler is overhyped and did not have any talent at all. all the records he created will broken by our R Ashwin who took man of the match in the very Test he played. lets hope both vinay and mithun gets hammered in australia as it cunning kumbli who put pressure on Srikanth who wanted talented sreesanth in the team

Can I stop having nightmares of S Arvind replacing injured Zaheer?? After 130k mediocre bowler was preferred over 132k bowler and part time batsman And after 140 k injured bowler was replaced with 125 k loser who was punished left right by the english I am sure the above will be in news soon. Hope this resignation changes the inevitable

Kumble was a fighter when he was on the ground. He has proved this several time. Let's not politicize Kumble's move. He fights for betterment of the cricket and country.
