Sehwag means ultimate risk-taker, which goes so well with his natural talent as a batsman. To me, he is on par with Sachin. There will be a lot of people who will disagree. I simply don't care. Also, there will be one record Sachin Tendulkar will probably never have, which is 2 triple hundreds in tests and a double hundred, both put together. Sehwag is the only cricketer in history to have this rarest of the rare record.

Congrats Sehwag for the World Record!I am sure more than the record, the stay out there in the middle today will augur well for Indian team's performance in Australia, though it will be under different conditions.
Today is Sehwags day & this was a very special innings. Why do you guys have to start spewing venom against Sachin ? But since you are, here is a comparison: 1. Sehwag was dropped on 170 Sachin's century was chanceless 2. Sehwag scored against WI one of the poorest team, Sachin against S Africa, Second best team of the time 3. Sachin was 37 Sehwag is 33 4. Sachins role is to anchor, Sehwags role is to attack 5. Sachin is supposed to play till 40th over atleast, Sehwag till 15 overs only 6. Sachin plays under immense pressure of expectation, Sehwag is carefree to the point of being careless. 7. MOST IMPORTANT: You are blindly jeallouss of Sachin, not of Sehwag

Sachin plays for records, Sehwag is unmindful of records. Sachin slows down excessively as he approaches milestones, Sehwag never reduces speed even when near a landmark. Sachin gets excessively cautious when approaching landmarks, Sehwag reaches landmarks with sixes. Sachin gets under pressure when in the 90's, Pressure never gets to Sehwag when he is in the 90's. Winning matters more to Sehwag, records matter more to Sachin. Sachin scores his double after 21 years of cricket & more than 450 ODI's, Sehwag does so in his 13 th year & 250 ODI's. Sehwag openly acknowledges his faults, Sachin never does so
