ndians are always lucky when touring austrlia because the key australian bowlers keep getting injured. Glenn Mcgrath Brett Lee(2 tests) in 2003-04 Gillespie(1 test)of same series. those facts are conveniently forgotten by one eyed Indian media people like gavaskar etc. This time no Pat Cummins Johnson Harris Watson etc. Indian batsmen (read Sachin) will make light of this attack and just look at the huge amount of praises that comes from Gavaskar shastri and most indian media. Indian media never appreciated the efforts of Dravid in England , he made 3 briiliant centuries against the best bowling attack in the world in their own cnditions. Just wait and see the huge amount of praises coming sachin way by shastris of this world against a very modest aussie attack

Mr. Nair, Sachin has made 7 centuries against SA out of which 5 came in SA and 11 against aussies out of which 6 came in Australia. please check the record of your Dravid who failed miserably against these countries and managed to score just 2-2 centuries against these countries out of which 1 was made in SA and 1 in Australia that too in same period of 2003. now Dravid scored 3 centuries in England and you declared England bowling as the best one. What would you say to SA bowling attack which had the likes of Dale and Morkel who are the best in business and sachin dominated against them while Dravid failed. as far as England series is concerned, Sachin had an average of 67 against England in their home conditions before this series.

first of all what is your dravid or your sachin? second coming to present bowling attack in world cricket it is the english bowling attack which is way above all esp. in england although they did well in aus. Compare that to present Aus bowling which is very ordinary. The purpose of writing is to bring to light the hypocrisy of indian media and people like Shastri and Sunny who will go gaga over sachin but not enough compliments for dravid Well if you are a blind Sachin follower then like many others it is your problem

"Indian batsmen (read Sachin) will make light of this attack". Doesnt this line mean that Sachin scores only against weak opponents however Dravid will not score since Australian attack is poor. I appreciate Dravid did really well in last series against Englad and Sachin failed but it doesnt mean that he dint score against great oppositions in tough conditions. he has scored 5 Centuries in SA, 6 in Australia, 4 in England, 2 in Newzealand, these all were in tough conditions. Dravid dint get as much recognition as Sachin got but this somehow helped dravid also. when everyone talks about Sachin, opposition bowlers concentrate too much on Sachin, he bears lot of pressure at the same time its a escape root for players like Dravid and Laxman who came under his shadow. Dravid failed in SA, he failed against Australia last year but no one pointed it out. Laxman also failed in England but you do not talk about him. its always Sachin who is always in centre.
Before the first test, the caption in almost all the newspapers and in the media was "NZ ready to test an inexperienced Oz team". They should eat their own words now.
Most of the ppl took the Aus team for granted. But the Aus team still has a potent bowling attack and an efficient batting line up. Nobody can under-estimate or write off the likes of Ponting, Hussey & Clarke.
Their new ball bowlers are very talented and can swing the ball at will. We have seen what Peter Siddle, Pat Cummins & Pattinson can do on a swinging track. Ponting's return to form is also round the corner. He is a mentally tough fellow.
The Indians have to be on their toes to make a match out of this Oz team, though the killer-team of the past no longer exists.

u are right on the NZ team they were a classic case of empty vessels making noise. As regards india i do not think there is any huge challenge now that cummins Johnson Harris Watson are out and in fact challenge is for australia against india
