CHANGE THE TOP ORDER
by Moses Joseph on Dec 08, 2011 12:16 AM

Partiv Patel is WC. So, he should stay. Change Sehwag and Gambir. They have not recovered well from injuries. Their days are gone.
Rest them and play others.

Fragile indian batting
by ajit kakirde on Dec 07, 2011 08:29 PM

In past also, like the on going series, indian batting has shown how fragile they can be. Bowler like rampal who do not have good records against other teams improve there record by
Performing well, not because they are excellent bowlers but because batting is irresponsible.

AT MOTERA, 13 FOR WI TEAM (i/c the two umpires).
by Moses Joseph on Dec 07, 2011 08:01 PM  | Hide replies

Suresh Raina did not edge the ball. He was not out, but given out.
The ball was not hitting the stumps for the last two LBW decisions of the tail enders who were given out.
So, the umpires played for the WI and they won!

Thats why we wanted technology in cricket.but bcci was vehemently opposing it..even technology with a 10 % error will be far far superior that human umpiring decisions.

Please make up ur mind whether u r talking abt test/ODIs.Sachin,Dravid & Laxman play tests and Virat & Raina have failed miserably in tests and Rohit is yet to play a test and u've come to a conclusion that they are good substitutes.Agreed they r good limited overs players but for tests we need to watch them for some more time before passing any comment.

i honestly don't understand how anyone can compare dravid, tendulkar, lakshman based on one series or one match.except kohli they are yet to show consistency.

Though I am a fan of Kohli & the trio, I have to admit that it is too early to compare him with the trio simply because he has played only 4 tests (3 in WI and 1 in Ind). And having an avg of 27.2 against West Indies is not such a great feat.
If he is consistent on pitches abroad, we may see something better than the trio!

What this series has done is that it has erased any illusion whatsoever abt the importance or inevitability of Sachins for the team and shifted limelight to the younger lot who have done the country proud by their feats

Fat hopes
by Ramdas Nayak on Dec 07, 2011 04:53 PM  | Hide replies

Poor West Indies do not know that their victory was gifted by Indians than they achieved. Our inexperience bowling and also some careless batting added by dubious decisions by umpires they could achieve victory to keep the series alive. Anyway at least for the sake of cricket let the remaining two matches have nail biting finish i favour of the hosts.

Hey Nayak, Rohit Sharma was dropped twice en route to his wonderful innings. Dont you think it was a gift by the West Indians?
