Are Playing Mind games like Steve Waugh - Intimidating Indians even before a Ball has been bowled.
India will struggle with New Aussie players as they don't know their strengths & weaknesses, but our bunch of players have been well targeted & scrutinized by Aussie coaches & players.

Hold fast to dreams For if dreams die Life is a broken-winged bird That cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams For when dreams go Life is a barren field Frozen with snow.
He is selfish he wanted to score his 100 in australia that why he wasted and rested england series and skip west indies test series now he should sit in the commentator box or train arjun his son for future.

if he scores a ton then it gives india a higher chance of winning. any batsman who scores a ton adds the runs to the team not only to his personal career. so why don't you buddy just stick with your paki gully cricket rather than commenting on greats like sachin.
Re: Re: Why play for a ton
by Sunil Vaidya on Dec 07, 2011 12:31 PM
sachin scores a ton not when it gives india a higher chance of winning but when he is given a higher chance to score 100...
READ- when the conditions are easy and when there is no or very little pressure...
that is, in odis when is when the pitch is 350-400 kind or the target is less than 240 runs...
that is, in tests when the conditions are easy, these is little or no pressure, the pitch is batsman friendly and when the three 50 average players before him sehwag, gambhir and dravid have given a good foundation...
these are the ideal conditions for him to score his trademark centuries...

@sunil given a chance to score a hundred? you mean handing him the bat and patting him on the back and say "go score a hundred" ? are you ok? if it was that easy then why do we have only one guy scoring like 99tons? if it was so simple then why not have another 5 players like him who can do the same. you know its not possible. but what you don't know is that this guy has had the calibre to play international cricket so well. dont get me wrong rahul dravid is still my fav player but if he is out then sachin is my next player i can rely on and not every match dravid and teh two openers can give a strong foundation. stop being arrogant and appreciate players like him while you still can. haters will hate but in the end that hate would give players like sachin, dravid and lakshman motivation to prove you haters wrong. and very often they do

rahul patil, wait till some one plays for as many years and as many matches as him they will also have that many hundreds...
and no i dont hate sachin, i am simply speaking the truth, however bitter it may be for you...
just check how many centuries he has scored in the above mentioned favourable conditions as i said and when he these conditions are not there check how many times he has scored a 100...
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Why play for a ton
by rahul patil on Dec 07, 2011 10:38 PM
alright fine so what if he did. . this guy has played plenty of matches because he has been consistent. just like sehwag, gambhir and dravid he has an average of 50 plus. so why don't you do some checking on how many players have an average of 50 plus in tests or odi's. and you have pretty clearly stated that he scores/scored tons in "easy" pitches or pitches suited for his batting.what about the other batsman around him? did everyone else around him score the same or comaparable number of centuries in those matches ? they should since its an easy pitch/conditions/situations isn't it? but you and i both know they didn't. you need class to score tons like him and sorry to say this mr sunil but you just ignore to see that. in the past many players have come on the scene and played for years and yet they never were able to retain their spots in the national team is because they didn't have the class to be someone great like sachin, dravid or laksman.

wow is that all you can see about what i wrote? well i am so glad the world doens't revolve around according to what you think. and get your eyes checked as you have once again FAILED to read beyond the first line. ignorant git one day your gonna be crying when no one scores a century for india and then you shall eat your words.

rahul patil, however good sachin may be my point is only that he is vastly over rated...nothing else than that...

rahul patil, in your own post you have said that ''alright fine so what if he did..'' in other words you agree to my argument...
i dont think there is anything else i need to say....you have agreed to the points i have made regarding when most of his centuries have come...

Sachin is great. He has got 99 hundred and scored around 30000 thousnad runs. This itself is a signal of a great batsman. Nobody can even reach to his near. Please don't compare sachin with anybody. He is above all
