Why Media/BCCI want Sachin to hit his 100th century in Test. He could have played the next two one dayers and scored that century. Its 100th centuries in both test and onedayers right. Why bother about hitting 100th in Test? I dont get it.

ok all of you have a say in this. but seriously if he scores a ton its good not only in his books but also for TEAM india! so what if he gets 100 tons its the 100 tons that are added in his name and india's name. he has an average of 50 plus. that average is for india. we as indians should stop speculating the greats and start appreciating them especially when they are in the twilight of their careers

dear patil ,
nobody is questioning his class & greatness. after all only 11 out of the whole india get to play for the country. but no hype & over enthusiam about him.
The mind game has begin.They know that media in India want this to happen regardless of what fans are thinking.The cricket fan now wants to see his back after an illustrious career.he should also see the writing on the wall & retire before being reduced to mortal from his iconic status.

Best thing abt Sachin is how he is looked after even when he is not there in the picture anywhwere. One has to thank his promos and sponsors to keep him alive in the scene lest he fades into oblivion from public memory.
