I happened to see UP- Rajastan Ranji match.I was extremely impressed by bhuwanneshwar kumar.Who bowls at a fair pace and has a lovely out swingers.Ihad seen him last year too He is a real talent. Our selectors donot look beyond Shrishant.Pl give him a break
There is no guaruntee about Zaheer's fitness in Australia. If he can complete the tour without any problem, we can hope to win the series. He is the best fast bowler in India today. He bowls using his brain and tries to find faults in the opposite batsman all the time and bowls with a plan. But if his injury recurs he will be a burden. So it is a gamble !
India is having one of the best Pace attack now, all bowling over 140 KPH, Ishant, Umesh, and Varun. Midhun also should be included instead of Vinay. o more vacancies for Pace slot
Only on past performance he is being selected and the selectors are taking a big risk. I am sure is would break down - "limp off" during the middle of the Aussie tour
Based on recent Ranji performances Parvinder Awana should be the 5th pacer to australi. The other four being; 1.I Sharma 2.U Yadav3.V Kumar and 4.V.Aron.

With Zaheer a doubtful starter, Irfan should be given a chance taking into consideration his recent form and excellent track record in Oz. Also we need a left arm seamer in the team

...while Irfan is indeed talented and the way he is playing now looks certain to make a comeback in due course of time.for the Aus tour however we are looking for a specialist pacer which he is not...
He needs to hit the gym. I don't know why these cricketers don't try to find a balance between practicing and cross-training at the gym. It's very crucial for professional athletes to do that. Not everyone can rebound easily from the natural wear and tear on bones/ligaments/muscles without working out at the gym. I am sick of hearing these Ian Chappell etc talking about just bowling and batting in the nets only and keeping the time at the gym minimal. If Zaheer wants to come back strongly he need to go back to getting fit in the gym first, then bowling. Otherwise he will tear something else and be done forever.
