There are players who are talked up by certain ex players or commentators and get selected remember Ajit agarkar who was also talked up as he was some jeff thompson by the likes of sunny and harsha

And the 200 plus wickets at a reasonable econ rate and really good wickets per match was a thing we could easily forget? Eg his 6/42 against Aus in Aus?

@Nair Yup you got 288 wickets in 192 matches just like that! Look at our fast bowlers in past 3 years and their avg and eco rate, compare that to with Agarkar and see who is better?

Also his good fielding, Munaf, Nehra, Parveen, RP are all pathetic in field.

@ Deepak That's because he's not used well! He had the potential. Remember his 95 against WI when they sent him 1 down? 67 off 25 against ZIM, 100 * against Eng at Lords, and many a times he he supported other batsmen in down order unlike these moron who had been playing recently!They never used him they they used Irfan, mind it!
no Channel 9 's great commentary for india australia series as Espn taking their own horrible bunch. Even that espn telecast does not have the hearable Harsha bhogle but only sunny and Ravi the bcci paid servants
to push him out using these tactics. The others like Gambhir and Sehwag are complete flop for past many months. Gambhir has not scored century in last 23 months, Gambhir has lost his confidence and Shewag looks too fat to play cricket..May be Dhoni wants these guys out
