Another fixed match
by India on Dec 02, 2011 06:52 PM  | Hide replies

Here we go again. Ravi Rampaul gets a record highest 10th wicket score of 86. All one day matches are fixed and some test matches like the one in Mumbai recently. So much cricket is played all year round teams no longer play for winning a match but play for more money being paid by bookies. Sehwag wins toss and does not bat. And then gifts over 100 runs for the last wicket. That itself tells whats cooking. The captain is in charge of fixing matches by all accounts always, Sehwag is no bunny but an expert in fixing a match.

by k karunanithi on Dec 02, 2011 10:49 AM  | Hide replies

it was very close when he was batting with ashwin to chase.. we know ashwin will bat till the end.. unwanted runout he made ashwin's out for quick 2 where ashwin noted it was not 2. and rohit left 2 bowlers to chase 11 runs and shouting from the boundary line.. very silly..!! he will not repeat but will commit new mistakes !!!

There was two rund. Ashwin is very poor in between wicket and that is the reason we could not win in Mumbai test. It is ok Ashwin is good bowler and he is winning matches for India

Getting out
by Ramdas Nayak on Dec 02, 2011 10:45 AM

Virat Kohli got out in the similar fashion in similar circumstances in the final Test against West Indies. The only difference was India won the ODI whereas it could not in Test. Varun did not repeat his mistake made in Test therefore we won. It is all fluke and should not call as mistake.

immature

Rohit is a very good palyer , he played the best at cuttuck, but the delivery which he got out was also a superb one , the delivery was of the class which makes the best batsman to commit mistakes..... rohot is a verygood batsman but seems to be a bit immature to make such statements

I like the responsibility taken by youngsters like Rohit, Virat and Raina when chips were down for India. These boys are real fighters unlike some of the seniors who mostly play for for self and records.

Getting OUT
by shantharam rao on Dec 02, 2011 10:30 AM  | Hide replies

Getting out in cricket is not in the hands of a batsman. It is like a sudden death.Even Bradman got out for zeero.Finishing a match with a good score is definitely like sitting in drivers seat.
BEST OF LUCK Rohit.

India needs a solid top order start
by Nikhil Shah on Dec 02, 2011 02:50 AM

With the re-introduction of Parthiv at the top, the Indian batting is again exposed to some quick top-order collapes. Sehwag likes to bat at an SR of 103 and Parthiv averages 25 in ODI. So the chances of losing a wicket early is high.

Instead, Let Parthiv bat down the order and Gambhir and Sehwag can open. If Sehwag loses out early, Gambhir can hold fort, followed by Kohli, Sharma and Raina.

I think with Ashwin and Jadeda India has the depth to handle the WI bowling attack and should be able to put runs on the board.
