What??

What quality of reporting is this? If not for Ganguly's century, WB would be down and out. Instead of highlighting that his century helped WB score some respectable runs, this sort of reporting is done.....!
And how can it go in vain even when the match hasnt been completed?

How can it go in Vain?

rediff editors needs to be little extra careful while displaying the headlines. How can his century be in vain without finishing off the match. this title is more apt if bengal lost the match even after his century. Till the match is completed we cant say. It would have been better title to use Ganguly stood tall to lead bengal from the front...

It implies that Bengal could not get the first innings lead despite getting so close. In all probability, this match won't get completed. So the team with the first innings lead will get more points.

Dada, you still have it in you. Good practice for IPL. Keep it up! But why only 1 six against spinners? Come on dada, you have taken the likes of Murali, Warne and Ashley Giles to the cleaners.

well Ganguly is a great batsman...no doubt about it. but then playing against The Mighty Haryana team is no joke either.
I am sure a fully fit Haryana team (remember Joginder Sharma is in hospital after an accident while Ajay Ratra is suffering from Pneumonia) will knock each and every team out of Ranji to eventually become champions.
Jai Haryana, Jai Bharat. Jai Hind
