Well said. Sachin always takes credit contributing nothing to any of our wins. He scores only when the match is already lost like second innings 50 and 90 in the recent series when there is no pressure or 241* and 60* in the Aus series when India was already down 2-1. Sachin's negative innings on a flat Sydney wicket cost us that game and chance to level series.

correct your facts.. Sachin made 241* and 60* when the series was tied 1-1 and he nearly won the match for India as Australia were 373-8 chasing a target of 478.. And what negative innings? Thanks to him we made 705/7 in that match.. dont comment just for the sake of commenting.. go and check your facts..

And FYI, Sachin has scored 35 one day hundreds out of 48 in which India has won and 34 test centuries out of 51 in India's win.. talk sense both of you..

question yourself whether sachin plays for his records/reputation or for the country.

Post-99 (after Azhar, Jadeja, etc left) our team plays for the country only. When people bluntly say he plays for records, it is a very foolish statement. According to ur statement, Dravid also plays for records, Laxman also plays for records. The whole team plays for records. But to agree to ur logic would be as foolish as the statement made by Sunil Vaidya uncle above. I know him from a long time and has a few screws loose in his brains.

Sachin is, was and will always be a team man.. Just because he scores so many runs you think he is selfish, if he doesnot score then you say he cant play... dont have so much of double standards.. grow up..

While countering rsir, you have provided wrong facts. Australia were 357-6 when match ended and not 8 down as you claimed. May be next two wickets fell in your dream.
The match which India should have won, all indians right from Sachin to Sourav to bowlers contributed to draw the match. Sachin by playing slowly in both innings. Sourav by not enforcing follow-on and bowlers failing on the final day.

Tikha Karela, to tell the truth you need not be a marathi/non-marathi. people like you praise Sachin for nothing and give the credit of rest of the team to him even though he is just a mediocre batsman.
Aaron, though has pace of 140k , bowled wayward bowling like sreeshant, ishant with no good line and length. Bowled short on off and middle, swinged the ball to the leg side etc. No proper seam, bounce, swing.
When in the world our fast bowlers understand the concept of good line and length bowling that has pace, seam, swing, bounce. Why can't theY watch the vidoes of bowlers like Broad,Anderson,Bresnan,Steyn,Aamir,Asif,McGrathetc and thereby learn where to pitch in the deliveries for good line and length and that has seam, pace, bounce, swing.

CC man.. it was Aaron's first international match.. have you even played ranji cricket that you are commenting?? Can you even bowl @ 40 kph??
Broad should feel shamful to for loose talk againt Indians because he is the only Englishman who was hit six Sixes in an over Mar khakar kisko mara puchana besharmiki had hai
pak and india nation were made not for mullahs or hodoos, but to serve angeez strategic goals. Nevermind, desus have to find a way out of this mess of past that attacks us noe. Margin of win shows angrez will give sizable fight, no harm ig infia tried pragyan and rahul sharma as well.

the angrez brokers like nehru, jinnah, gandhi, etc knew this had kickback bakshis accounts in angrezland that have been moved to rest of europe and rest of world.

examples of artificial insemination by ghoras are two koreas, indo-pak,isreal,etc. Nehru no only had kickback account, he smoked used cigaretes with edwina and more, while TB rudden jinnah thought himself as some angreez lordship in-charge of rabid mullahs. What more angrez made nehru incline to russia to counter american rise yet outwardly showed themselves to be their best ally like france does.

I think your brain is TB ridden and rabid.....cover it with your khakhi chaddi.
we shd nt write off dhoni and co after just one series. Yes the margin of defeat hurts but who knows- this might be a blessing in disguise. Some new stars may be born
Re: one day squad
by Priya on Aug 30, 2011 11:04 AM
so very true.. Lets not forget that he had an injured team with him and India has not lost a series under him in the last 3 years under his captaincy.. I just get a feeling that the team will whitewash England team when they come to India next year.. England team was good but that was just sheer good luck.. winning ashes or against SL at home doesnt make Eng the no.1 team...
Re: patel better than dhoni
by kalyan chakravarthi on Aug 29, 2011 11:31 PM
ya, now a days dhoni is not playing..just talks a lots after the match...he has to talk less and have to bat more...he is batting at home after his marriage..so unable to bat in the ground...so now he has to stop batting at home and concentrate on the ground
Re: Re: patel better than dhoni
by Sunil Vaidya on Aug 30, 2011 06:32 AM
Dhoni is the best cricketer India has ever produced. It is because of him that we won 3 major tournaments and the No.1 status.
Re: Re: Re: patel better than dhoni
by Priya on Aug 30, 2011 11:05 AM
Give Dhoni some respect, the Indian team has achieved so much under him.. just one series loss and you all have started talking crap.. India will bounce back and become no.1 in the next one year once again.. just wait and watch..
