what this proves
by tillu tillu on Aug 29, 2011 01:01 AM  | Hide replies

This proves, world cup was a setup - fixed, bookies bcci players all worked together; Again tendulkar has failed, all his career he played just for himself then for the team. He is no great player but just a regular gulli player who got support from bombay-bcci, sashtri/vengsarkay lobby and even gavaskar(all kars); I am sure anna will have no issue with such corruption

England is so cold
by x on Aug 29, 2011 12:43 AM

Besides England is so cold. How can anyone expect Indian players to play in England's chilly summer.

If only I knew what's in a King's mind.

Why would anybody be where they are in the "circumstances"? Everybod would be enjoying "UTOPIA", isn't it!
So, we'll never be prepared for the Kingdom. So, we challenge and win over them over a period of time.

Lesson from Tippu Sultan. Fight of Lion over Tiger. A lion can spend even days on its prey to kill it, once it made its first bite until its prey dies. Whereas the tiger leaves the prey when the prey escapes more than a couple of times injured. Focus and concentration when needed. It is the Power of suggestion and advertizement.

True...Older Players must gracefully retire from active participation and allow younger ones to step in. It's similar to human life cycle of Youth and growing old.

If Older players must maintain themselves, stay fit & agile and practice dedication & self discipline. They should not enjoy any EXTRA PRIVILEGE than a beginner.

Every SPORTS MEN & WOMEN has decided this as their profession, so should be committed to deliver the goods for what they are PAID FOR.

Ups and Down are there once in a while. But consistent failure should not be accepted.

If IPL is a distraction, then it should be banned.

Funny thing is that the younger players have been the ones that haven't performed at all.

Dravid was the top scorer.
Tendy had a bad series, yet was second highest scorer for India.

We picked 47 wickets. If you want to win 4 tests, you need to pick 80 wickets.

Who are the young players are you referring to? Are they the only ones?

It's Funny, India a 1 Billion country, cannot identify 22 good players.

well all the bowlers are in early and mid 20's with the exception of zaheer khan and harbhajan singh

Mukund, raina didn't do well

And yes it is pathetic that we cannot find 3 quality bowlers in a country of a billion people

With scores of 10,12,16,56,01,40,23 and 91 SRT is the second highest scorer in the series after RD. Atleast his scores are better than many others in the team who have had a miserable series like VVS for example. You just don't go around dumping people because they are old right? RD, SRT and VVS are pillars and should not be dropped till they perform!

I am not saying his scores reflect what he is but don't dump SRT or VVS based on one English series!

do not justify your inefficiency .Indian cricketers play fine when there is lot money why should they play for India when there is no money.it is only money matters.then the question is how much one requires to lead a happy , healthy and contended life

That's an IRONY we lack love and pride to be INDIAN. I am sure many do not know our NATIONAL ANTHEM.

The Western worlds whom we love to emulate these days put love & pride for their country first.
