Thanks for waiting. By the way, Dravid also responsible for so many drop catches, 7 or 8? These cud have made some difference, but batting, yes, he is solid.

7 to 8 drop chances.. no way... I can say hardly 4 loly pop catches... But our discussion was his batting... and even though fielding is also concern....And i was happy about his performance... but bad luck Zaheer was injured.. many batsman couldn't utilize the conditions..

No, a total of 6 catches. Catches win matches..and he dropped 6 which are crucial in context of game. I was saying tht he shd retire as hes getting old now. But his batting was solid which saved him from being axed. As u said, Injuries and lack of practice cost the series.

Might be we have lost some chances to get back...in 2nd and 3rd tests...Remember the batsmen he dropped went on to make Big 100s.Rest is history.

iam not in favour of M Vijay..infact had i been the selector, i wud have given to Badri/Ashwin who is more matured than Vijay!
