The result was inevitable... because of certain reasons:- Key players were injured or unfit (Sehwag, Gambhir, Zaheer, Harbhajan)... and many of them are tired (Dhoni, Sachin, etc, etc)... Some of them were there but they dont belong to Test Arena (Yuvraj and Raina are prime example)... the coach is new... he dont understand the team well as well as the team dont get the time to understand him... before the series there was no condiotion camp... like the one we had before the WC.... BCCI as well as players were happy to play local T20 cricket and earns the money for themselves... the only players who shows some grit is Dravid... even though he too played IPL but he work hard on himself to come out winning with his batting... the worst part from the Team India was that they dont want to fight... Its a wakeup call for the Team India.. players like Dravid, Sachin and Laxman are not going to last a year or two.. so where are the new Test batsmen.. because the biggest let down was our batting not bowling... we need to work on it otherwise we will be WestIndies in the making...
Victory & defeat are part of the game , however the manner of defeat is the concern.It's very clear that with the tacit support of greedy BCCI the players have also become greedy.Injured players could have been left out & yougsters could have been given a chance. Most of players barring Seniors like Dravid & Laxman and Tendulkar prefer IPL over Country.BCCI should take a call.
Sachin preferred to skip 20-20 representing INDIAN Team.Whereas he is leading IPL with utmost interest.Recently after IPL,he skipped the West Indies tour denying National Interest. How Sachin can expect Bharat Ratna? Why Sachin is still out there in INDIAN TEAM?

Sachin plays for only money. It seems advertisements were also ready/prepared eulogizing his 100th 100.
we, so called world champs with top world class players can not even win or draw one single test match, it is clear that no one cares for the nation. now they should be taken as procession on donkeys all around town. have to say something world class players?

There is value for National Pride for team india!. The commitment shown in Batting, Fielding,Diving by some of our team members in IPL (raina,dhoni,gambir,sachin etc)was not even matched by 10% while playing for ur country? why Because u were all purchased like dogs by ipl owners for huge black money! so you have jump and catch the biscuit. But while playing for india what you will get? They were all acting in a drama and enjoying in England.

No no they are not national team- but BCCI team. That is why they were not allowed to participate in the Beijing Olympics.Yes we should have a national team.
If WC victory cannot be erased; then this ignominy also cannot be reversed.
If WC victory showered crores and crores to players in terms of gratification; then this ignominy should "drain" the players' purses by infinite sum(s).

Be magnanimous in this worst "DEFEAT" accepting the reality that you are shown your REAL Place in the sun.
When you were riding the crest of wave(s); REMEMBER that all other teams were in the process of development having lost their great players at one go. You got the better of fledgling(s) and callow(s) with LUCK smiling at you disproportionately.
That which ascends steeply shall descend/fall if complacency or surquedry takes the better of equanimity. Hiding behind injuries/inept bowling/fatigue/improper acclimatization/Improper scheduling are all the accompanying minor factors to the main cause cited above.
A complete revamping of the basic 'cricketing Order' is needed now.
What will our players will get by playing for our Country??? Just a few billion supporters?? just there prayers??? Just blessings??? Just happiness of fellow Indians???..its all irrelavant for them...what is relevant is Crores in there bank account,,,beautiful cars...late night IPL Parties...time to shake legs with models/Actress..these are more important than playing for Nation..isn't it???
Every one know Indian cricketers are playing for money not for country, but in present situation the Anna's fight against corruption, whole bollywood (except Mahesh Bhatt, father of a Co-worker of David Let) and even Rajnikanth from Chennai is backing this movement but not a single Indian players are supporting it, the reason is that they are also earning maximum money by illegal means.
Indian team needs to be more fitter . players seems to be interested in money then nation pride . they can play IPL even they are not fit but avoid Test match shame on those players. all high categaory player should not be allow to play upcoming champions trophy for T20. and there should be a limited number of matches allowed in IPL for all national level players.
A new generation is emerging not liking cricket, social networking, blackberry and gadgets. Soon it become a trend NOT TO BE ONLINE and NOT TO BE LIKE ORDINARY IDIOTS.
