We did lose because all the three did not click at a time and bowlers are average caliber and that Dhoni still believes that tests can be won with 4 bowlers out of which 2 are always ineffective. Dhoni plans for 50 overs only.
Many in this message board say that Sachin scores centuries in the matches India lose and so they are useless centuries. If that is so, Dravid scored 3 centuries in this series and still we were whitewashed. Does this mean his tons were useless? It goes to prove that when a batsman plays well at one end, he needs support from the other. Like Dravid, Sachin also didn't have support from the other end most of the times and so ended up at the losing side. So, don't blame a single player when cricket is a team game.

hello how did VVS score hundreds and won matches for india with the support of the likes of Ishant, ozha, Zaheer kahan. History speaks truth and one has to accept it
england relies heavily on mistiming and misjudgement of indian batsmen to outswingers on high pace and rising balls to give snicks or get hit on stumps by odd inswinger or incutter. Angrez batting has practiced it against angrez bowling so not suseptible to such tactics. Swann relied heavily on player missing his high speed spin with angle in to hit wicket or give snick. He also rubs into the umpire by agression to gain LBWs. Again, both spinners and pacers rely heavily on mistiming and misjudgement of indian batting.

angrez have EPL and many players from ODI-T20 play EPL.INDIA did not have program to be number 1 for test. good cop and bad cop umpiring assisted by dubious DRS replays.
if Simon Taufel acted as good cop for indian gullible like tendulkar and civil like dravid, the umpire Tucker promptly gave LBW out on Tendulkar the very next over. this good cop and bad cop tactics lasted all series. concession for Ishant by DRS was too late and they knew he wont last long.So indians were fools wheter flicking to outgoing swing balls (all along) or rising balls, Or by DRS or by poisen laced with sweet advise from angrez like boycott, chappel ,etc. Or due to bad selection or due to gangs in India XI team or due to fitness issue or not having program to be number one with best indian ex-players like kapil dev, kumble, etc. leading that program. The program that encompasses best equipment, fitness. OVERALL, indian spirit is weak in comparison to Americans who rose to make their own games like baseball, American football, baskeball, etc. to free themselve of angrez clutches. Later angrez came back through texas but american games were established by then.========
Srikanth created this whole mess by selecting players from Tamil Nadu and Chennai IPL teams. He kept on selecting players like Dinesh Karthik, Vijay Murali, Badrinath and Abhinav Mukund eventhough each one of them failed miserably. Even the selection criteria is a big joke. To accomadate Tamil Nadu players, he selects the team sometime using IPL performance and sometimes using Zonal cricket.Typical Tamil Logic to select Tamil Nadu Players. This is just to accomadate more Tamil Players. Also he selected Ashwin even when not required and delegated him to Bench all the time. He was bench for nearly 30 Plus ODI matches.
He didn;t give any opportunities in tests to players like Pujara, Rahane, Rohit Sharma, Dhawan, A Rayudu, Rao or M Pandey. Not even a single chance.Pujara played very well and instrumental in winning against Aus and after that he was dropped citing injuries. Tendulkar likes Rayudu a lot and that will the potential of Rayudu. But Rayudu didn;t got any chances not in tests and not in ODIs. But look at Diensh karthik. He played 23 tests and close to 50 ODIS even after miseable failures. The whole investment was waste. Same with Vijay Murali, Badri and Mukund. Because of Srikanth, there are no backup players. Mukund didn't do a good job and his average is only 16. This created the whole mess and Dravid to be opener and Laxman to first down and thus impacting the team balance and losing the first two tests badly and impacted team morale heavily

there has been a slide in the performance of the team from the time they landed in west indies. it bpeaked in england. pl. go through the score card. it will tell us correctly.
