Srikanth is saved from hundreds of slangs because Ajinkya happens to be not from Chennai.
I feel sorry to Srikanth whenever someone from Chennai gets selected.
Srikanth has done a great job in selecting players, even for the test team he went along with the best in business. If we had flopped after Srikanth would have selected a young team without the big players like Tendulkar, Sehwag, Gambhir, Dravid, Laxman (which 100% would have happened), then again the same people crying now would have called it a bad selection.
According to me Srikanth has been the most unbiased selection chief ever. Yes he did not ignore/boycott Chennai players like other selectors did in the past.

yes true hence india has saved in past. Thanks selctor have not selected great Murali Vijay in past. We are missing him. Rahane should have selected long back ahead of all TN bastman while ashwin should have played ahead of harbhjan . What was sreekant was doing then?
This rahane will be a big flop in england...Dunno why the selectors pick any tom dick and harry and make them the scapegoat.. similar thing happened with jacob martin, hrishikesh kanitkar on the 1999-2000 australian tour...they scored runs aplenty in india but were found wanting in australia... in any case india will lose the one day series too as thye dont hv the bowlers and neither have the batsmen...

What do you know about cricket? you can not decide on a player who is in top form of his career. He should have been there in test team touring England but sadly our selectors had no guts to drop Sehwag. Even if he fails we should not ignore his talent and give him more opportunities. I am sure he & Suresh Raina will shine in ODIs.
