Abe tu kya 2001 ki paidaish hain kya??? Do you remember India's Aus Tour of 1992 and 1999?? Was IPL responsible for poor performance??Indian youngsters can't play short ball. Let it be Suresh Raina or Yuvraj or Virat Kohli. They all got exposed.Only player who can play hook and pull is Rohit Sharma.People like Ajinkya Rahane,Rohit Sharma and Pujara should be given chance over Raina, Yuvraj and Kohli. India need to prepare fast bowling tracks for domestic cricket. Enough of dust bowl and batting tracks in Ranji

I have a suggestion. Let all the money that has BCCI share all the present office bearers like pawar, manohar, srinivasan, shukla, etc. on one guarantee that they will leave the Cricket board and allow professionals like Kapil Dev, barring gavaskar and shastri, and others run the show

Palani is right as earl ier it was Ajit Wadekar and Sharad Pawar and Sh Pawar won. Currently it was VilasRao Deshmuk an d Dilip Vengsarkar and needless to say, Desh mukh won. When the focus is on cash, the game nat urally suffers in qual ity.It is very sad to see our team lying but chered in the pitches of England.

Abe Lungi your are mixing Mumbai Cricket Association with BCCI. BCCI is run by Shashank Manohar and not by any politician. Selector chief is a cricketer not a politcian, still he screws up with his selection.Prepare sporting wickets in domestic cricket and you will see the difference.

Bring kapil, Anil kumble, Srinath, Amarnath to the Board. These technical persons should be able to produce results

Kapil is worse than the Politician as we can never forget our loss to Pakis in 1987 Sharja Cup;but the other three are the best.

Rubbish all the players are to be blamed only..
by Oye Kake on Aug 23, 2011 02:02 PM  | Hide replies

Most of the senior players skipped the West-Indies tour so there should be no excuses;
The players were more over confident and are still flying in air; this was the perfect dose for them to bring them to the ground.

Dhoni said in the post match presentation that there was no time for preparation; OK i can give you excuse for that for first two test what about the last two how much preparation you want; Innings defeat everytime is un acceptable by World No. 1 in whatever circumstance it may be.

Hard to Digest
by john on Aug 23, 2011 02:00 PM

Its very hard to digest the defeat against England by 4-0.

Class players like Laxman, Sachin, Dravid, Sehwag and still India defeated by 4-0.

Shame on the Team. And shame on the IPL as well and shame as well on the explanation given by Dhoni.

Boot out sharad pawar
by palanisamy on Aug 23, 2011 01:59 PM  | Hide replies

as long as sharad pawar, the biggest corrupt and no moral politician is as at the helm and srinivasan, the man famous for counting the beans are at the helm, you can expect lot of surprises. First kick out in the asses of bloody politicians like pawar, vilas deshmuch, rajeev shuila, schindia and others and hand over the reins to the cricket professionals barring sunil gavaskar and ravi shashtri. Otherwise you indians will be always be fools and hero worshipping good for nothings

Abe Dhakan..Sharad pawar is no way associated with Indian Cricket..kaha se boot karenga???Tere pechwade se?? As long as Sharad Pawar was the President team did well. And who said he is biggest corrupt? If that was the case Anna Hazare would have screwed Sharad Pawar by now by going on agitation. Anna hazare had done 14 fast in maharashtra and none is against sharad pawar.Biggest Corrupt Politicians is karunanidhi and BCCi Secretary Srinivas

Boot-lickers' body
by letsgo on Aug 23, 2011 01:59 PM

If Aussies can make sweeping changes in their Cricket Administration after their Ashes debacle, why don't we fire the BCCI Secretary and his boot-lickeing cronies ? And what about Srikkanth & Company - the greatest jokers on earth ? How did RP got a chance ahead of Irfan ? How did Saha got the ticket ahead of Parthiv ? How on earth all these so=called injured players go the chance in stead of some fit players ? And why this IPL dhamaka ? IPL did not spot a single talent. Whay on earth people watch the domestic event of a No.3 country ?
