Please include players according their performance & HEALTH status. Players' performance in recent tour to Australia or West Indies or Ranji performance should be the criteria. PLease DO NOT INCLUDE INJURY RIDDEN PLAYERS. It is quite difficult for a team to become COHESIVE when we have to make changes in every match. SO far ONLY ONE of Shrikanth's choice has delivered i.e. Rahul Dravid. All others pushed in the team have failed miserably. How you can expect a team consisting of players from a Team which could not win Ranji Trophy, to perform better than players who won it? There are several players in Mumbai team, who have been performing consistingly in India & outside as well, but they are denied seats only because of regional politics,
So folks our next step should be to wipe out this corruption as well & have a real performing team for our country & have a beeter 'Bench Strength' of substitutes available for choice.

The team having lot of Langotiwals is main reason why team performing so badly is all reason behind is sharad pawar who controls BCCI....
Umesh Yadav clocked 155kmph but he was not given much chances during emerging players tournament.Varun Aaron and Umesh are meant to become spearhead of Indian pace attack with Zaheer Khan backing them
Re: Umesh Yadav faster than that...
by Amarakbarantony on Aug 22, 2011 12:01 PM
dear, thes indian fast bowlers will clock even 170-200 Kph during selection trials...but they will loose all these stuff once they trying to bowl in an international arena !!!I never saw any other Indian super fast bowler other than great Javagal Srinath with decent pace and bounce to terrorise the opposition.

by Amarakbarantony on Aug 22, 2011 12:14 PM
that means there is something wrong behind in these speed ratings !!!
without a day's delay varun shud be included in the squad as this is his high time when he can give his best & is hungry for wickets ... Wake Up BBCI !!

Correct. Also, he is not a Tamilian from Chennai, so majority people of Indian also will not have complaints with that.

heheheh..u said it right..everyone has a problem with Sreesanth just because he is from south India..we all have watched Northi fast bowlers who were useless at pace or at wickets but because they represent hindi mobs its all fine..most northies think south means Madras..sad most do not even know Sree is from Kerala and not Madras..

@varghese,
you are right..still majority of the north indians are not capable to draw the Indian map in a proper manner and blaming chinese for redrafting Indian borders in their maps without knowing the genuine story!!!what to do,that is the pity reality of the so called great illiterate India...;)

@varghese,
sreesanth has lot of problems..first of all, he is not at all a fast bowler in the range of saheer khan(during his best time).sreesanth simply sprays boll during his bowling.he is trying to act like brett lee or curtly ambrose without genuine talent.At least he can behave in the field like a calm and quiet player like munaf patel.You can be so agressive but at the same time you should have the talent too.

What has it got to do with South and North you idiot.. its got to do with talent.. thats all it is and should be.. cut the crap
If BCCI plan to produce 2 National teams with 20 member squad for each, then every player will get a chance and enough rest.And players can concentrate on the game without any pressure to cement their place in the team, becoz if not perform well in the main team, will demote to next level team. Now see I Pathan,Uthappa,VenugopalRao and Balaji...etc.., all these are very talented players but not sure whether they come back to national side again. So that we can protect a lot of bench strength to challenge any nation and we don't lose any player.
Team-A plays with top 6 nations 1.Australia, 2.SouthAfrica, 3.Srilanka, 4.England, 5.Pakistan, 6.Newzeland. Team-B plays with next 6 nations 7.WestIndies,8.Bangladesh,9.Zimbambwe,10.Irland,11.Netherlands,12.Kenya.
The Squads: Team-A:   ; 1.Sachin,2.Sehwag,3.Ghambir,4.ViratKohli,5.YuvrajSinh,6.RohitSharma,7.Dhoni(Wk-1)*,< BR>8.SureshRaina,9.YPathan,10.RahulDravid,11.VVSLaxman,12.DineshKarthik(Wk-2),13.ZKhan, 14.PraveenKumar,15.IshantSharma,16 .Munaf,17.Sreesanth,18.HSingh,19.AmitMishra,20.POjha.

Yes suppandi, I agree with you. I am trying to post this idea in several forums even in cricinfo also, I hope may be someone will notice this concept will forward to BCCI.And there is one more concept BCCI can try to produce different teams for each format also.

From Wikipedia

WHAT IS 1196? SRINATH WAS TAKEN TO THE CLEANERS BY PAKISTANI AND BATSMEN OF MOST OTHER NATIONS
The best pace bowler India has had in the recent past has been Anil Kumble.. It will take years for us to spot another pace bowler of the calibre of kumble. till then on foreign soils against quality opposition we will keep losing..
