spineless performance ; no motivation; failing to play as a team ; no nationalism--barring those three dravid hundreds, there is nothing to cheer about this grand Indian capitulation!

humiliate others and humiliation will come to you...fixing WC will not make you hero, it will only give you illusion....but any above average team will bring your pant down. and that's what has happen...

yes what else we can expect a moron like you. you are crying cause Pakistan lost to India in world cup. for your kind information test is different from one day. match is fixed on favourite team not on underdogs. India was favourite against Pakistan. bloody traitors like you should be kicked out from this country there are lakhs of like you in India.

problem lies with you and your understanding of the game. It is true the way Srilanka and Pakistan played that the winning seems "fishy" after all Mr Corrput Pig (pawar) is the at the helm

sure!! Average team like England can bring us down but your PORKISTANI or BEGGER BANGADESHI team is not even remotely close to being average

Entirely Agree. What really hurts is how we lost. If we had fought and lost, it would have been a different story. But this was total capitulation.. a super heavy rolled..

who says he is living in India? That cuntGolden is from one of our BEGGER Neighbour countries...
We all are addicted to cricket….. Even if we lose badly, we still watch if India playing. Our nation is losing a lot because of this game. Productivity at workplace reduces on days of cricket especially during ODIs and T20s. In every office, on most of the computers, there will be a minimized window of cricket score updates. People misuse the official phones to know the scores. Those who do not have these facilities rely on mobile phones and lose money. Lot of electricity wasted during matches. Thousands of advertisements in between ……we ultimately pay the cost of these ads as its included in the MRP of products we purchase…... Junk foods, excess coffee, lack of proper sleep, no exercise, obesity etc. etc…….. this cricket will kill the people…… still we love this national waste game.

sehwag is ok he was out of touch and not fully fit has tech problems but much better then Raina. Raina played because of Poorna his girl friend. Yonger Daugher of Praful Patel.
Re: Re: wht the hell
by Aryan on Aug 22, 2011 10:20 PM
pradeep: sehwag is way too inconsistent. his lack of foot movement early on in the innings is a big drawback and can be exploited by quality pace bowlers.
Re: Re: Re: wht the hell
by PRADEEP ARYA on Aug 22, 2011 10:27 PM
fully agreed. that is why all his long innings he played abroad he was dropped once or twice. but on Indian or sub continents pitchs he play throw the line cause bowler does not do much.

I gave reply twice but i don't know if rediff does not like Praful Patel's name on this board

Probably because there was no replacement for Raina. Apart from that he was also bowling, and took 2 wickets.
It's a great shame that with so many talented cricketers to choose from, the selectors can't send a proper team for an important tour. They got away with it in SA earlier this year, where Raina was completely exposed to short-pitched bowling. This time they didn't get away with it.
The was he speaks , Mr Dhoni resembles a Politician. His answer are in-congrous. Only he uderstands whta he speaks and he is always ready with a Politically correct answer wheneever he fails. I mean why cant he be a man enough and say the we played like minnows and got what we deserved. He will always beat around the bush when asked a simple question. He has failed as a batsmen, wicketkeeper and captain. He should opt to step down from Test team and hone his skills. If you are good in the 20-20 format of the game does not mean you can lead a Test Team. The way he bats makes me laugh. No Footwork . even RP Singh in the 1st innings had a better footwork than the captain. BCCI should wake up and act now before it is too late. The cricket calendar should be carefully planned and IPL/ Champions League should be immediately banned. When was it last when Mr Dhoni played domestic 4 day game ?? Wake up Mr Dhoni or it will be a nightmarish end to your cricket career. Only Luck will not take you far.

Dhoni has made his Congress seat confirmed as he and Sakshi had specially gone to meet the corrupt and media hyped Rahul Gandhi after their marriage.
Let us forget this 4-0 whitewash as a bad dream and try to salvage some pride by winning atleast the ODIs and T-20. I think the point system of ICC is wrong. How come India was No.1 without winning away series in Austalia, S.Africa, SriLanka and England? The pt. system should be based more on how a team wins an overseas series where the conditions will not be favourable for the touring teams. I feel we were not the No.1 team in the true sense. The only team that deserves that credit is Australia. Now we have to see how England performs when they to come to the subcontinent.

First learn to type. And 2nd I never said they will not loose in India. I said they will play lot better in India then we did in England. WHY? because they will come well prepared and they also have a very good spinner in their team..

Which format? Dear we preparing damaged pitch for our spinners, pitch like common indian indian.s poverty, wake up make good pitch
Re: Re: ICC Point System
by Injun Abhi on Aug 22, 2011 10:26 PM
No doubt they will play better in Indian heat and turning pitches. They may loose but they will fight. They have got good batsmen along with good set of bowlers, who're physically fit, have a pride, believes in preparation and want succeed..
Re: ICC Point System
by Rivka Mishra on Aug 22, 2011 10:37 PM
The point system was not wrong. You don't need to win 4-0 to reach No. 1. The points were accumulating since India's win over England in 2007, and since then India had won against Australia, SL and NZ and even England at home. They held SA to a draw in SA, so the points just accumulated.
It is difficult to have a point system which distinguishes between home and overseas wins. It's not as though home wins are easy. In the past India used to lose quite consistently at home as well.
