Spun by the Spinner
by Jose Sucorinho Antao on Aug 23, 2011 03:17 AM

It is well known that Indians are not too good in facing the fast bowlers or swing bowlers
especially on foreign pitches but when they cannot play swann who is no where close to either shane warne or muthiah muralitharan in spinning the ball, than it is of grave concern for the famed Indian batting line - up.

Paradise of no.1 lost
by pravin sarode on Aug 23, 2011 02:21 AM  | Hide replies

Paradise Lost is an epic poem in blank verse by the 17th-century English poet John Milton. It was originally published in 1667 (though written nearly ten years earlier) in ten books, with a total of over ten thousand individual lines of verse. A second edition followed in 1674, redivided into twelve books (in the manner of the division of Virgil's Aeneid) with minor revisions throughout and a note on the versification; most of the poem was written while Milton was blind, and was transcribed for him.[1]

The poem concerns the Christian story of the Fall of Man: the temptation of Adam and Eve by the fallen angel Satan and their expulsion from the Garden of Eden. Milton's purpose, stated in Book I, is to "justify the ways of God to men"[2] and elucidate the conflict between God's eternal foresight and free will. Although the primary event in the epic is about the Fall of Man, the character Satan serves as an anti-hero and as a prominent driving force in the plot. His depiction has fascinated critics, some of which have interpreted Paradise Lost as a poem questioning the church’s power (a common theme during the English Renaissance) rather than only a description of the fall of Adam and Eve.[3]

Milton incorporates Paganism, classical mythology, and Christianity into the poem. While Milton's principal goal in the work is to give a compelling Theodicy, he nevertheless deals with a range of topics, from marriage to politics (Milton was politically active during

Srikanth created this whole mess - Too many Tamil Players
by sreenivasulu reddy on Aug 23, 2011 02:06 AM  | Hide replies

Srikanth created this whole mess by selecting players from Tamil Nadu and Chennai IPL teams. He kept on selecting players like Dinesh Karthik, Vijay Murali, Badrinath and Abhinav Mukund eventhough each one of them failed miserably. Even the selection criteria is a big joke. To accomadate Tamil Nadu players, he selects the team sometime using IPL performance and sometimes using Zonal cricket.Typical Tamil Logic to select Tamil Nadu Players.
This is just to accomadate more Tamil Players. Also he selected Ashwin even when not required and delegated him to Bench all the time. He was bench for nearly 30 Plus ODI matches.

He didn;t give any opportunities in tests to players like Pujara, Rahane, Rohit Sharma, Dhawan, A Rayudu, Rao or M Pandey. Not even a single chance.Pujara played very well and instrumental in winning against Aus and after that he was dropped citing injuries. Tendulkar likes Rayudu a lot and that will the potential of Rayudu. But Rayudu didn;t got any chances not in tests and not in ODIs.
But look at Diensh karthik. He played 23 tests and close to 50 ODIS even after miseable failures. The whole investment was waste. Same with Vijay Murali, Badri and Mukund.
Because of Srikanth, there are no backup players.

Build a team with all Andhra and Telengana then team would have won.
What a foolish Logic!
When Sachin and vvs lakshman are failing like new comers what pujara or any other joker would have achieved?
Raina was given more than required chances and he proved to be miserable failure. He does not deserve to be in the team anymore.

You again, copy and paste the same message from your previous post. Try to understand, it is a failure of whole team, not because of TAMIL or Sachin.. or even the great bribe Indian capton Azar (from your home town)...OK.. Be Indian, Bring India forward.. Tamilnadu 3rd biggest contributer to India's GDP growth..., and so many.... . Think about the Failure not color or state.. OK, don't post again..

killer instinct
by vinay on Aug 23, 2011 01:58 AM

atleast eng had that killer instinct so even after 3-0 win, they werent complacent. unlike ind which is known to win a single test in the series n then go for dull draws for the remaining matches.

how pathetic we could be - Thank God he did not make century otherwise in Indian "paid" "myopic" media that would have been the only news [I remember way back Steve Wagh said " why you Indians are like this - country's defat does not matter - you only care about the individual performance" ..]

Indian body is not good for hard physical work, we are not good in Football, Tennis, Athletics, Running,Swiming....whenever we required to RUN..v r not good enough. We are good in Chess, Computer Programming, Painting,Art, Gambling, Playing Cards, Hide & Seek, Kite Flying etc.

In Indian condition our spinner take two steps & bowl 90% of overs.. In England it was needed Our fast bowler to RUN in. Our batsman failed but I would say english pitch 250-300 runs is average score.
