congratulations rahul ! great knock in trying conditions against the best attack and when nobody is there to support .u r the most consistent player and get the tons when country needs it from u .
Congrats to the great Dravid without whom India could not even cross 150 Runs..Also what an Idiot is Dobi who asked him to bat again after mammoth first innings century..Gavaskar most selfish batsman and a coward who focused and is still focussed only on money, never cared for Indian cricket. So Iam happy Dravid crossed Gavaskar.
I have been your fan since you started your carrier. What is most fascinating about you is your mental strength, Honesty and dedication. i salute you for this achievement. God bless you.
Gavaskar has played quite a few match winning and a lot of match saving knocks in his career at a time when there are bowlers who throw cannons and there is just a cap to protect your head! It is not wise to compare Gavaskar with any modern cricketer since none of the modern cricketers have faced fast bowling to the likes of Lilee, Thomson, Hall, Hadlee, Sobers, Holding and Roberts with no shin guard, abs gaurd or head gear for protection.
Rahul is all time great !! No doubt about it. He has been a real gentleman. He did get selfish for about 2 years when Chappell created differences among the team members and Ganguly was treated badly.Rahul should have taken a stand to be not used for screwing the team.

a snail..? yes, right, but he is coming to Indias rescue again again when the socalled excellent players fail again and again...It is better to have snail in the the team than paper tigers..
