Dravid has same average as Sehwag but there are various similarities:
1. Both have almost same average in Test Matches. 2. Both have great stamina to score big in good times. 3. Both provide stability to the innings. 4. Both have scored big centuries in all the countries.
The only difference is Sehwag wins matches...Dravid saves matches.

may want to look at some of the most memorable vistory for India in last five years or so and see who fought it out there for us and won it..
When India lost their first test - Dhoni said.. its ok we have three more test we will bounce back strongly
When India lost second test - Dhoni said.. it is ok, we have still two more test to level the series
When India lost third test - Dhoni said.. we will see it is not a white wash, we will save the fourth one
When India loose fourth test - Dhoni will say... any ideas guys ? Your views... My views would be... We are tired, everyone needs rest for their upcoming IPL, CL, and Advertisements and then they will take rest for one series or so like westindies and again depend on Wall Rahul Dravid... This series sould be called ENGLAND VS RAHUL DRAVID

Even after being regarded as greatest team of all times..Australia under Mark Taylor, Steve Waugh and Ricky Ponting lost tamely against India in India...therefore it is pardonable if we lose against England in England with the absence of Zaheer Khan, Sehwag, Out of form Trio, etc.etc.
Above criticism is worthwhile if India is beaten by England in India with a whitewash.
I hope you may get a chance when England visits India later.
If at all there was one person who screwed up dravid's career, it was dilip vengsarkar. He showed double standards while dropping him..But dravid showed his class..dilip may be a great player but he is not a good ambassador of cricket..ATP has an award called Sportsmanship award, named after my favourite gentle giant Stefan Edberg, likewise ICC should create an award for sportsmanship in cricket in the name of Rahul..Long live Rahul... May god bless you with longevity and bless us in making us watch you bat on and on and on and on in Tests. Gud Luck
If at all there was one who messed up Dravid's career and demoralized him, it was Dilip Vengsarkar. This guy has literally toyed with his career. He was double tongued when he mentioned dravid as a great leader, when leading our side and commented him as a single dimensional player, when dropping him. Honestly Dravid was made the scape goat in the spat between the board and Chappell. India was not ready for chappelsque like Coaching technique. Dravid, tried to mould the team along with chappell, but was called by many as a puppet to chappell. This was further strengthend by the publication of Ganguly's email and sachin's public outburst when chappell questioned him. There was no unity in the team that was chosen for the 2007 world cup. Look at the innings of Sourav, sachin, Dhobi, Yuvraj (needlessly run out) and harbhajan against the must win game against lanka. Never have i seen a captain standing in the stands, crying his heart out. please spare a thought for this gentleman. Had he played continuosly in ODIs, he definitely would have adapted to the pace of it. However, past is past, and I love you Rahul for What you are. May god bless you with longevity and bless us in making us watch you bat on and on and on and on in Tests. Gud Luck
for such an ordinary player...he just creates shadows that he is a great player. he is nothing compared to Sachin, VVS and Dhoni..he just lacks energy, have you seen anyone moving cordially with him..hes a loser..even after his retirement, we dont want his services..i pray he retire soon or some injury keeps him away..the most negative player i have seen....

I can understand your feelings. the fact is that you don't simply understand the game..when you say that 'we dont want his services' you mean he is your employee..? take my advise, stop watching cricket and instead go and play some gilly danda..your elks will appreciate that...ok, no offence meant..no pun intended..feel sorry for you..Dravid is the most valuable of the century..

Why write some rubbish when u don't know anything about test cricket. Grow up man, test cricket is not 20-20 cricket. If not for Dravid's contribution Tests would have finished within 2 days in current series. Are you on Drugs?
