Performence is the Key
by pkghosh on Aug 16, 2011 11:57 AM  | Hide replies

Dhoni, to my opinion is gifted child of "GOD LUCK", from the beginging. Now, let us also give him time to unite the team back to glory. This is definately a much better time now, if we compare the time in the past, when team India has passed through that phase of corruption in cricket in Indian team imported &cultivated by our GREAT CAPT. like Azaharuddin. Lets wait & watch how Dhoni, flairs now!!!

If you want to keep cricket as sports, stop first IPL. Because these guys are more interested in playing cash rich IPL. IPL has made cricket as thamasa.

I don't agree. It is just that England are much better side then India today. We need to accept that and move forward. IPL has its own advantage, we now have pool of good players and many players are now getting good money when earlier only players were getting money. As far current record, more than 200 players are getting well paid compared to about 20-30 players pre-IPL era.

Learn the right lessons
by ratnakar kamath on Aug 16, 2011 11:28 AM

1. The famed batting lineup?-saved by Harbahjan recently with two consecutive centuries, time and again we expect the bowlers to bat as well.
2. Sehwag's king pair-the maligned Abhinav Mukund would have scored some runs.
3. Rohit Sharma didn't make the team though in form. Virat Kohli too , now called back.
4. If you don't learn the right lessons but attempt to gloss over well you will pay the price

Carefree Attitude towards tests

Yes, when there are millions to be made in IPL playing only 4-5 overs, why to slug out for full 5 days in hot sun and in bouncy tracks? Its enough if your coffers are filled and overflowing with advt contracts. Let someone else worry about playing test matches and worry about retaining pride / glory etc.(all useless stuff!)

I knew Dhoni used to drink plenty of milk. Does he take huge quantity of milk still now?
