Can someone respond to Alec ...
by Arv Singh on Aug 18, 2011 07:09 PM

Looks like Indian players are not going to stand up to England min this series. Send the Haryanvi manager back on one way ticket. He has no Cricket or international experience. His credentials - he is grandson of Choudhuri Bansi Lal, former chief minister of Haryana.

Appoint an experienced cricketer as manager of the team next time ....

about the england's condition in on going time
by sabyasachi mallick on Aug 17, 2011 11:22 AM

i think in this time england is more powerful than india but one should understand about the india's condition.....because first world cup next ipl next westindies series.....on a row.......so there is no chance of rest for indian players.most of the veteran players are injured now...so it is obvious that a team is under a bad time..so performance is very bad..
but i hope india will bounce back within few days...chak de india...

Yet again, this is PART OF ANGREZ PROGRAM TO BE NUMBER 1 and thus practice England team against Ireland (and figure out who is needed) to tone themselves such as to be able to beat india like how they practiced against Sri-Lanka to beat
India. Realized where they needed to improve while indian forgot what special england did against Lanka.

Why not india versus lanka unscheduled One dayer.
Angrez brains still running the show from within ICC (or ICC) even whether they are not at the top of the helm or not.

What if England loose the very next test after becoming number 1
by overblown blown on Aug 16, 2011 10:57 AM

I am just wondering what if England loose the very first test match after being crowned number 1 test side. This will make the next test match interesting. Even though it looks tough for India, you never know if Tend, Viru and co get it right next match. It will be great to see all these ex English players faces then. What say guys?

a well set English team
by DolfKing on Aug 16, 2011 09:59 AM

The English proved that Cricket is a Team Game and this is the core diffidence between two teams in this series. Though now both India and Aussies have top cricketers in their side, it is how well they bond on and of the field makes a bunch of good cricketers a good side.

Bear in mind, holding together when defeats hit the team hard is an ideal phase for this good bonding and trust to build...i hope Team India will hold together and put a good fight at the Oval.

I think your statement on the indian psyche and morale after three succesive reverses is quite accurate. Full credit to England for playing such merciless and unrelenting cricket. They left Indians with no chance whatsovever to get into the game - be it batting or bowling.

I think in the long run it will help Indian cricket as they no longer worship people based on the runs they score on Indian pitches. They will have to take a different perspective of being able to deal with true and bouncy wickets.

Bruising of the bloated ego is no problem
by Haridas Shenoy on Aug 16, 2011 09:02 AM

Success had gone into the head of BCCI, the paid commentators and the ad money hungry players.

A bit of ego denting is welcome.
