Are they rubbing salt on our wounds?

Their comments on fletcher are unwarranted. Even before the first test, I'm not sure who, but an England player, perhaps Strauss said to Fletcher that he doesn't look good in Indian colours (i.e. decked in Indian jersey) .

Perhaps you have not followed the above story from Strauss & Flower.

It's not fare to blame Fletcher. He surly is not a fairy with the magic wand! Instead The Team INDIA & BCCI are to be blamed 100%. Team INDIA for taking their success for granted and lack of preparedness. BCCI for not doing their job of picking the RIGHT TEAM MIX.

BCCI must encourage more productive cricket exposure, such as in English county, or in Australia etc. This IPL FANFARE is impracticle and does not help other than making money.

DD

In short we must bring down our average team age under 30. Old legs must be dropped, be it TENDULKAR. I am very sure the performance will not be worse than now if not better to start with.

Strauss and Flower: they are trying to save Fletcher and want to say that only indian Players are responsible for the defeats.mmmmmm... and BCCI should not axe him in near future.

The Truth

All the four Test matches in England were a sell out. Almost 75 percent attendence. A lot of this money will flow into the coffers of the BCCI. All the prayers were well aware of this. They demanded a piece of cake, the BCCI refused to give anything other then agreed. The players took their revenge by playing bad or not playing at all and losing the series.

India's slide

If Team India has to be saved from more embarasment then Fletcher has to be very strict about discipline and fitness on the younger lots and should put injured players on rehabilitation for atleast six months. In the recent times only Praveen Kumar has fitted in from shorter version of ODIs into longer format of test cricket.
