All 35 players short of reflexes, they can survive in docile tracks and weaker teams, but cannot not survive persistent attack from top team like England. Agreed no substitutes but lets face it how long you can ask these top trio to play for India??? Fill them with youngsters like Rohits, Kohlis, Pujara and let them learn from failures. We lost No.1 status so we can experiement now and in my opinion thats the path india and selectors should take.

Its high time that the so called seniors Dravid, Tendulkar, Laxman should take responsibility for the ignominy and take retirement.
They have failed to rise to the occasion and have become bad examples for the junior team members.
If you read the entire report, no where you can find that Dhoni made a statement as the headline suggests!! This REDIFF is a stupid portal which wants to attract few eye balls with nonsense headlines like these....
While blaming the players for the debacle,even BCCI is at fault by fixing the itinery without brains. BCCI and players are greedy for money and play non stop cricket. They should stop IPL and make compulsory for all players to play Ranji Trophy.
WE SHOULD WRITEOFF DHONI'S MEN FOR ONE SERIES LOSS.OTHERWISE THE TEAM HAS BEEN PERFORMING GOOD SINCE LAST 3 YEARS OR SO.OVERPLAYING IS THE MAIN REASON FOR FAILURE.BCCI SHOULD LEARN FRON THIS ASTO HOW MUCH CRICKET SHOULD SENOIRS PLAY IN A YEAR WITH MATCH FITNESS.
