Das
Criminal Pawar and BCCI
by Das on Aug 14, 2011 04:13 AM

They are more interested in vast money generated by IPL and other cricket matches, which will contoinue to pour in regrdless of whether India wins or loses. So they have one of the oldest Indian cricket team ever. New players are not given a chance and oldies are bought back. With crook Pawar being the head, politiking in more important than talent, and stupid Indians will keep vote dynasties, believe is divisive casteist, liguistic and regional chauvanism and vote in hoodlums, and even worse many dont even turn up to vote.

Indian Team performance
by Arv Singh on Aug 14, 2011 01:31 AM  | Hide replies

Virender Sehwag:
Viru needs to go back to basics & learn how to get his bat on the ball. It was a mistake to play him straight after injury and not enough conditioning.

Gautam Gambhir:
Guatam has the talent but he has to aim higher than just 30 runs.

Rahul Dravid:
Rahul proved why he is called a wall in the first two tests but him dropping catches in the slip was an embarassment.

VVS Laxman:
Its about time BCCI organise a benefit game for this aging veteran. He should retire gracefully.

Sachin Tendulkar:
I think he is waiting for his last century before announcing his retirement. Sachin is a legend but I find him playing for his stats.

Suresh Raina
Raina is a good ODI and T-20 player but he looked out of place in the test team.

MS Dhoni
Dhoni showed his guts by fightback in the last test but needs to improve in his leadership skills, wicketkeeping, field placements, and bowling changes.

Amit Mishra
He is OK as a second spinner but had no presence to lead the bowling attack.

Praveen Kumar
The "Jatt" showed his fighting spirits in the game he was the lone bowler making an effort.

Sreesanth:
This individual hs some mental issue that overtakes his talent. He needs to focus on his bowling and less on tantrums.

Ishant Sharma:
Ishant excells in one game and flops in two after. he needs to be consistent.

Abhinav Mukund:
Owes it to Shrikkanth and some Anna/Amma for his inclusion in the team.

Kohli, Munaf, and Ojha never got

Worst performance in years
by M Raj on Aug 14, 2011 01:09 AM

Suggestions for Mr. Srinivasan and Mr. Iyengar(Srikkanth) and Mr. Manohar (of course)

First DO NOT arrange IPL for one year I know you (Srinivasan) won't because you also own team and want to make money..Understand.

In my watching cricket since 1978 west indies series in India. This is the worst performance I have ever seen - the bcci is only intersted in IPL's and 50 over cricket. Even we have not lost this badly against Clive Lloyd's, Lillie & Co.,

Once we have lost 3-0 against Australia in 1999 series. That was tough because we are not able to face some fast bowlers like , Mcgrath, Lee, Gillispee, Fleming etc.,

1.Please come out of this IPL first.((or atleast ban the seniors from them). IPL should be played only for a month.
2.Make some lovely fast pitches in India. (we can have fast pitches - forget about the individuals records.
3.Have 10 fast bowlers as a backup. We had enough of Zaheer Khan. He has been given too much of a place. He is not an automatic coice anymore.
4.Zaheer should play four test matches on trot to prove his fitness. If it is not he should take retirement.
5.Harbhajan should go back and practice off spin. *this is the must, must. He is not looking to be an off-spinner. He is better with his bat than his offspin
6.Suresh raina and Yuvraj should practice on bouncy and seaming conditions. Ask them to play in english county clubs.
7.what is Duncan Fletcher doing? Cancel the contract unless he gives ideas to boost youngster
