test cricketing skill
by STAND PARTS on Aug 13, 2011 12:58 PM  | Hide replies

top players like sachin, sehwag, dhoni, raina should adopt to test cricket from one dayers & 20-20 (where each & every ball is to be played & rememder it is indian condition). It can,t happen in test cricket that too, in english condition where the ball is seaming & swinging. The above players most of the time got out in slips looking to drive. IPL & the money behind IPL is killing their test cricketing skills. Look at dravid who has not played much of 20-20 or one dayers managing test cricket with skill.

turn n bounce in the pitch, unable to bowl well....pathatic exhibition of leg spin....no flight at all.....bowling short pitch and forcing batsmen on backfoot, a crime for a legspinner....spin is not allways turning the ball it's deceiving in the air and of the pitch...he lacks that....

When your captain is master of giving excuses after every defeat, what one can expect from this ordinary leg-spinner?

Spinners are of no use on bouncy tracks.
Just because Dhoni was pressurised to sack Bhajji, Mishra got chance. RP Singh would have been better choice, but nobody could have stopped England from beating India.

Sehwag's contribution
by bhujanga subannachar on Aug 13, 2011 12:41 PM  | Hide replies

Can any body speak about Sehwagh and Dhoni's effective batting contribution since 20 to 25 Innings. This is what is worry some for Indian Cricket. Injury may one fact but can not be the only cause for poor performance. Now what IIM bill include about leadeship qualities in their Syllbi. I realy wonder IIM Ahemadabad has Academic Scholars or Poor Analysers of the events like our Politicians and thier yes Sir burocracy.
True that our players have talent and good sports temperamant ONE Dhoni can not win the game. His teams wins or loose the game by the vertue of some luck and killing spirits. We must judge the game in game spirits but not with commercial and Pseudo national spirits follwed by arranged game management shows. Present Indian team performance is due to such wrong means adoption. We must get rid of such evil spirits. Let us not squarely blame Dhoni, Sehwag,Sachine or Bhajji. Let us try to keep true spirits of the game and try to play a neat and good cricket.

Plain Nonsense

If a 6 foot 3 Inch Broad, with his long legs could bowl without a no ball, why couldn't Mishra. He was not even seen making a correction in his run up. Brainless Bowling.

Height of the bowler is not the issue for bowling NO BALL. Reach and follow through are the issues. Temperament of the person also plays it's role on sone occassions. Under desperation Mishrs must have bowled too many no balls.
