Rest the Team. India should have 2 Teams A & B. If one Team fails, the other Team will raise to the occasion

its great to see that the team who have guts which one comes on field with proper plan is moving to number one slot. Hope BCCI will learn something out of it. Pride also matters and not money all the time.

Lady luck smiles on Angrez batsmen and bowlers

Yesterday, it was brutal sorcerer rioting LADY LUCK for ANGREZ batsmen
and bowlers that smiled on them. Exception being Dhoni.

Angrez batting had lady luck smiling for the determined Angrez batting as well who
began feasting on Sresanth. In Quite the same vein, Australian bowler Johnson had 6
wickets against Lanka.

How can we describe lady luck more, R P Singh was not there so Angrez batting Strauss
begun their feasting with sresanth knowing that his replacement R P has been stopped.

Rohit and Kohli was nowhere on net because selectors mis-planning and because it makes
senior and gang players insecure.

Strauss went on rampage on sresanth and then he got lucky with praveen when going on rampage
against praveen. Followed by determined Cook being lucky with Ishant when he want to for rampage on him.

Who knows that the desis are determined?

It may so happen, but what of 400 England are going to pile up today?
I have a feeling both Straus and Cook are going to score big hundreds.

Dude .. by imagine positive, we can atleast be happy for sometime. Everybody knows what's coming - possibly an inning defeat. Pitch is perfect for betting. Our players simply played rubbish cricket. None of them was trying to stay on wicket ecxept Dravid. The Stupid Laxman.. he was well set .. unnecessarily played that shot.. It seems he was trying to find the place in One dayers. so sad..

Let the English prove themselves in all conditions first!
by sandeep kumar on Aug 11, 2011 09:55 AM  | Hide replies

English have shown they are good only in their own conditions. And the english win over aussies recently was against the weakest aussie side ever. And dont forget, when aussies were at their peak(2000-2009), india won 2-1, drew 1-1 and would have won 2008 but for those umpiring howlers. Let the English prove themselves in the flat and dry pitches, and can they show their expertise against the turning ball? So far we have seen how they hop and skip when the ball turns and bounces. Check muralis, warnes and kumbles record against england on cricinfo. Its disrespectful to the INdian team when the whole brit media goes overboard being the 'best team in the world'. LEts not forget: the last series win by and english side in India was 20 years back! Whereas India have proved themselves everywhere since 2000. Let this tour, ridden by injuries and bad luck and low confidence, not to forget lack of preparation, come to and end. India team will start afresh from next series onwards and consolidate their ranking. Cheers team India.

so has India proved in all conditios?
Never won a series in SA AUS and here in England in the latest series ( the one that counts) they are pathetic, so how do they say they are no.1?

Dude, are u a brit with an Indian name by any chance? WHat a hangover mentality u have. U need a life seriously! Btw india were unlucky in Aus in 2003 and 2008(remember bucknor?). And SA in 2010 was a depleted side to an extent. ANd without warmup. The point is India travels without warmup games ,and inspite of that, draws overseas series.

The same Bucknor saved India lords test in 2007 when he did not give panesar lbw which was plumb and that would have been 20th wicket for an Eng win , Ind won the series otherwise it would have been drawn as well
You have just one eyed indian mentality .
Was 2003 aus team the best?
There was no mcgrath, warne and Brett lee missed 2 tests as well.
if there are no warm ups then it is India and their board's fault not oppositions.
and who said sachin to miss WI tour and now sunny says that missing that tour has proved fatal for sachin!!

Lets go madam.
If I were to believe you, winning the limited overs WC at least once is a prerequisite of being the no. 1 Test side.
With due respect, I don't agree. Madamme.

DUde, dont forget the six sixes hit by Yuvraj in 2007 against the so called broady. Get out of your colonial hangover man. India having one bad series, can happen to any team. Once Aussies lost 3-0 to NZ before WC 2007. INdia is still no1 ranked and world champs. As for your jimmy and broady, they grew up in these conditions. Let them prove their worth in Indian pitches, and not in conditions where even a 15 year old can swing the ball. And fyi, england last won in India in the 1980s. SO much for the tall claims of being the best in the world. LEt this injury ridden series come to a close, the Indians will sort things out and show the world whos the best.

cnditions where 15 year olds can swing the ball? How many Indian bolwers have swung the ball in this series? And who exactly in Indian team is injured apart from Zaheer? Why couldnt Sachin and VVS play in this series, what is their excuse? Maybe shutting the mouth and practicing hard may be an option to get out of this gutter?

6 6's happened ages back may be you are happy living in the past.
when India become No.1 by statistics you are shouting from top and now when Eng are on verge of becoming No1 by sheer performances you have all excuses get out of your typical mentality and get the reality

Sachin
by Abhijit Nair on Aug 11, 2011 09:04 AM

Sachin scored tons of runs in last 2-3 years vs weak bowlers nad on Indian or SL pitches, except 2 100's in SA but now that he is up against world's best bowling attack and in England he has failed completely.
Only Dravid has the guts to fight it out vs top bowlers and English conditions.
Sunny,Harsha Ravi Saurav have their mouth sealed now and that is the best thing, so much Sachin chamchagiri has to end sometime
