England and their management would've seen a similar situation in India as potentially dangerous and the BRAVE ECB board would've recalled the cricketing troops back to UK. The England cricket captain would've needed a nappy change every hour if it was in India - Cry Babies!!

The first series when normalcy returns to Pakistan should be England v Pakistan - Oh then please dont forget to tell the firangi lads to pack some VASELINE for it gets rather humid and hot in that part of the world. And if you see any cooking smoke, please dont panic and mistake it for riots - for the world is a nice and peaceful place - TILL THE BRITS ARRIVE!!
Riots are not same as terrorist attacks. No one died in the riot of UK more than 200 died in Mumbai attacks. He is just diverting from Indian cricket team performance to other topic. If Indian cricket team and BCCI are so courageous why are they not touring Pakistan.
Safety is the last on list of worries for an average Indian. If it was a big worry would our roads be so unsafe? Would our public places be so unsafe? Would whole families ride on two wheelers - complete with dad,mom,3 kids - without helmets on? Would our workplaces be so unsafe? Would our construction sites be so unsafe?
Most developed countries have safety professionals in construction sites etc, whereas in our country such a thing is unheard of.
So don't talk about safety and Indians in the same breath. That it the last of our concerns and so no wonder BCCI did not risk the cricket dollars for the sake of Indian cricketers' safety. They did the right thing.
Mr.Gavaskar has got it wrong. When England toured last and went back, the team was recalled by UK Govt in spite of assurances from Indian authority. In this case not for once did BCCI or Govt say they would recall the team and no one stopped them from calling back the team too.So why raise this irrelevant point Mr. Gavaskar.
Gavaskar said it wrong... if it was bad enough then the UK government themselves would have not given permission to play.. but they believe in their security system that's one thing we are not sure of . if and would philosophy don't work when if and would hasn't happened .
Seeing that India is doing badly in this series, you have chosen to derogate the English team by bringing in an irrelevant issue such as the relative behaviours of the Indian and English Teams during riots! Where was the need to bring in a comparison like this unless of course you wanted to prevent cricket lovers from appreciating the English team for their prowess on the field? Your comaprison is totally malafide and smacks of plain jealousy!

YES...I agree 100% with the great Gavaskar and Chiraag...Our Indian guys find one or other reason to downgrade ousrselve...English have left...But we didn't left them...we should salute our guys..even in LOSS their sprits are high...Marcus Trescothick, went home with a condition described as a stress-related(mental) illness and other with food poison after eating excess of Indian food(they are not forced to eat) just getting free..silly greedy british. JAI HIND.

Ranakuna Well said - Just one bad series must not dampen our spirits - this game beautiful of cricket was born in our country India and we shall do all to preserve its spirit and enjoy the wins and learn from the losses

are you porky...even porkystan people had pride ..listen to rameez raja and miandad commentry, if you are not porky...then you are the biggest fool living. Bottom line PROUD TO BE INDIAN.
Indian team by deciding to stay in England have done nothing that they can be proud of. Scenes in London streets today are a everday affair in India. So we indians are kind of battle hardened and used to such kind of attacks everyday. Indian team should better concentrate on their game and ensure that we do not end up losing the series 4-0..... God of cricket has proved that he is past his prime and should retire gracefully to make way for youngsters....

. You may be right. But here it is not a comparison of we are used to it or not.
It is fact that English might tried everything to disrepute India, if they were in India.
Gavaskar is absolutely correct. No doubt about it.
I don't know why you guys love white skin with a cost of own pride .

And I dont know why you guys love brown skin with a cost of misplaced pride.
whatever he is sayin is absoultely correct...blackburn rovers were suppose to come 2 pune...bcoz of mumbai blasts they cancelled the tour for india...infact england cricket board had given green signal for the players to come back due to security threat...the same should b done by india...this decision is nothin related 2 india poor performance

Chirag for you:
Well said! Indian team would definitely not return to India to face a worse situation here. The only place worse than back home is obviously Pakistan, which as we all know, this team does not visit.

Pseudo Very Well knowing the English Obsession with Pakistan, the ICC needs to reschedule the future fixture calendar and the first series return on Pakistan soil be England v Pakistan - Let the whole world then see how long the brave cricketers of land of Jelly Beans last!!
